Adem Yze

one of the more ridiculous takes I have read TBH.

Livo will be relaying messages from ALL the assisant / line coaches to the bench, not a role you would want your senior coach doing
I was hoping you'd chime in Taz, im sure you would of heard Tim speak on many occasions, whats the vibe you get from him? Has it changed recently as in do you feel he throws his weight around more, has more influence than he maybe should?
I have no idea but when things are going bad we all look for reasons and from the outside sometimes i think Tim and Blair might have to much say at times.

Fair post. Yze needs to do his job without his boss looking over his shoulder. May be wrong but don't think Dimma had Livo in the box next to him.

Livo used to often do the exact same role under Dimma i.e. relay messages from coaches to the players.

He did it predominantly (but not always) from the bench, wired up to the coaches box.

From what Leysy understands the only change is he is moreso stationed in the box now and delivers to the same messages to the players from there.

Hardly any difference. Mountain out of a molehill.

Anyone who knows anything about him will know he will be giving nothing but support and won't ever impede on the coaches role and decisions.

Yep, and Ooze also said earlier this year that he wants Livo in the box to assess the coaches are all operating properly.

Yep, some bizarre irrational takes (even for PRE) that are a million miles from reality.

Livo is now not just influencing selection, but making in game moves Bahahaha! Hilarious!
Livo is an excellent operator. As you say the calls from the Peanut Gallery to remove him are as crazy as they come.

Has anyone seen Yze react in the coaches box maybe even talk to Livo?
I see Dimma when watching GC be animated following the play and giving instructions
Vossy is animated on the bench McCrae same even Simpson has a pulse but Yze may as well be at Wimbledon watching the tennis

He specifically requested it.
Don’t mean he chose it
Yze needs to get the L plates off and take charge As for Livo he can sit in the back corner
Ziebell Newie Lambo or one of the other assistants can get the headsets

Yep
Sicily ring a bell ?
Coaches have to be daring , not conservative!!!
Vluastin played forward for a quarter last year
He also played on ball early in his career
Kicked 3 goals against West Coast early in his career
Sicily said straight after the match that he went forward because he was injured and didn’t want to be a liability in the backline.

Hardly a stroke of coaching genius.

Dimma left because the Toys would not take him further....100% correct assessment!

How and why are we judging Yze?

He will need another 2 to 5 years to get the toys right. The worst decisions are always the reactionary ones. We should not react...we need to build for the next dynasty!!

Hang on, I thought Livo's sole responsibility was to stop Cumberland getting a senior game.
Confused

Livingstone always sat on the bench with Dimma in the box .

I think it is drawing a long bow making assumptions about someone's level of influence based on where they sit on game day.

Yze can't be judged as a coach at the moment. When he has a better list of players available then we can start judging him but even then it will take time for him to put his stamp on the team.
2025 will really start telling the story
The two things that I am looking for this year is continuing effort which has been generally good with a few lapses but is going to get harder as time goes by, and whether he will make hard decisions later in the season. For example is he willing to play bigger names in the VFL if he sees that they don't fit the longer term plan?
Agree you can't judge Yze at the moment.
However, the players response over the next 6-8 weeks will give us a indication of his coaching ability. Sunday was the first time this season the players played selfish football. Dimma in first season lost the first 9 games, then started to turn it around.
I'm keenly watching the next 2 months. This will start to show how good or not Yze is as a coach. We cannot defend the corridor like that again, otherwise we will be blown away with the cattle we've got. Defending the corridor is still the key defence mechanism of all teams, in any era, or ability.

Yes, effort has to remain high. Clearly they got a rocket at halftime on Sunday because the 3rd quarter was much better and being at the ground you could see they were gassed in the last.
But I can put up with losses when i see maximum effort and there haven’t been too many lapses so far and when it has happened there has been a response. As you say, the coming weeks will tell the tail.
I reckon the early part of the game against the dogs on Saturday will tell us a bit.

Have not been impressed with Livingstone at all. Him and Blair took the joint role after Balme. Blair looks after I think more recruiting and contracts. Livingstone needs to take some accountability for the mess in fitness and conditioning and medical department for the last 2 seasons. The appointment was wrong. His in the box with Yze , but who's evaluating his job.

He aren't good enough to tie Balme shoe laces. Livingstone and Gale we're the ones who told him 2024 is your last year. In our current state you tell me a calming influence, experience operator and man with wealth of experience in Balme can't help our football department puzzling and he wanted to go on.
