Did it in a canter in the end.

Some great golf played by both teams though. The putting seemed extraordinary.

Just watched the 30 for 30 film on John Daly. Compelling story of one of sport's great Naturals, who was his own worst enemy. There's a movie in this man's life.

Daly, known as "Wild Thing" in his heyday, recounts a tale in which he once invited Woods for a beer -- and says the 14-time major champion's reaction surprised even him.

The big-hitting Daly, a two-time major winner, recalls he was enjoying some drinks in the clubhouse on the eve of the 2004 Target World Challenge when Woods came in.

"Tiger's there in his workout clothes and I said, 'Tiger, come have a beer with us, man,'" Daly, who turned 50 Thursday, told the Golf Channel.

Woods declined, saying he was going to the gym, but Daly persisted.

"I go, 'Man, you don't need to work out -- you need to drink a little bit with us.'"

Woods' response left Daly shaking his head.

"(Woods) said, 'If I had your talent I'd be doing the same thing you're doing,'" Daly said. "I'm looking at him thinking, 'You're crazy, man.'"

Well done to Tiger supporter Mark Leishman on winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational, he drained a fifty foot eagle put on the 16th to go from one shot off the pace to a one shot lead and then holed a couple of good par puts on 17 and 18.

That's awesome. I last saw when he was 8 under, still 3 off the pace. Great effort.

He's primed for a good run this week at Augusta. Might back him in w/o markets as it's tough to go against DJ in his current form on a course where you can bomb all day.
 
LPGA is a joke. If they can't being the misdemeanour to attention before the card is signed then why us there a penalty.

The predicted 30-40km/h winds for Thurs and Fri should favour Leishman. When it blows, he flows. Might take him for leader at rd1 and 36 holes.
 
Dustin Johnson hurt his back falling down stairs in his accommodation, might be a late scratching or at least not at full fitness.

Got to be a good chance overall you'd think.

Was at Augusta last year and last night when fox showed the replay is the first time I've seen any of last years final round.

I think he will, he has been amazing since he turned pro.
Matthew Fitzpatrick is a young player from the UK who goes ok too, i first noticed him in the Masters last year when he shot 5 or 6 under on the last day.
