Anyone read the mongrel - in an article on that site yesterday they were previewing each teams run home and with the tigers they made the comment
“I have a lot of respect for Trent Cotchin’s hair and want to know what gel or wax he uses. You have a player with the surname Eggmolesse-Smith and while I’m sure he won’t play an AFL game, I like his name and I think everyone should know it.”

Wishing the kid a wonderful debut on Saturday. Haven't seen much of him other than the VFL highlights online, so no expectations from me, just keen to see him make a solid debut and help contribute to a win!
Interesting to see the Korin Gamadji getting some kudos for helping get Eggy get to where he is. I reckon the KGI does a lot of work with our indigenous boys to help them settle into Melbourne and the AFL way of life that we probably don't hear much about. It's looking like a very wise move by RFC.
Recall his finals series (2018) and he was terrible. He was kicking the ball out from full back and missed target after target. Apparently was coming back from injury and this was not his normal output. Have not seen much of him live, I keep hearing that he has a lovely, reliable left foot kick. From all VFL reports this year he deserves his call and wish him all the best. 5 indigenous players in the senior line up, a first for Richmond.
Also the weather was foul in that final at PR which may not have helped if he's returning from injury and has to use a wet ball. Looks a good kick in those VFL highlights. Nice to reward him with a game against a low-ranked team.
it also predicted that Stacky wouldnt kick another 5 goals this season. Lets hope he does it this match!

I laughed when I read that - if he stays forward I could see it happening over the next game or two
Wish young Eggsy well n hope he has a ripping game and plenty of fun against Mould Coast but.
Watched a few of our Ressies games via streaming n I have a query about his urgency / decision making. Seems to me he often takes a while to hunt around trying to find the best option to dispose to. For mine he seems to run himself into pressure a bit at Ressies level, if he does this at seniors level they'll bury him. Pace and intensity is way higher n I can't see him getting time to look n think.
Happy to be totally wrong on this, but it could be an issue for him.

What a stupid prediction. Stacky kicked 3 goals in his first 6 games from the backline. Even bet chance he could kick 5 from the last 8 even if he was playing back. Playing forward it's a lay down misere.
