There would’nt be any chance of Bolts going to Adelaide would there? If he were to leave it would be to go back to Perth wouldn’t it?

Money does magical things to people. Western Australia can turn into South Australia very quickly for an extra 100k.
But the only thing I say is, isn’t the Adelaide the *smile* club that said it will never pay overs for a player?
They did for Jenkins, what’s the meatloaf Walker on?
Can’t stand Adelaide

Ralph will have him dreaming of a very large income.
If he agrees to hold out for that and Adelaide makes a suitable offer all we can do is try to persuade him to stay.
In our favour is that he appears to be well settled with lots of young mates at Richmond and he would realise that he is not going to be so happy at GC.
If the only way to get him to Adelaide is to give up pick 2, Adelaide would be wise to take it.
It is also true that Adelaide have a pretty poor record for good trading in the immediate past.
Fill in names here of players taken from both Carlton and Richmond.
They don’t really get into it carefully. Anything could happen.
My strong preference however is that nothing dies and Chai stays a tiger.
In other words I feel we would’ve far better off keeping Chai than drafting Anderson.
CHAI ??

Anderson ??

You would think so especially with both Hill boys apparantly looking to get out.

He'd be a walk up replacement for one of em.

The WA clubs will be scrambling to to make room for Tim Kelly, but he wants to go to the Eagles not Freo.

I hope the kids a Tiger next year, hes close to going up another gear
Thinking the same. Finding his feet n how it all works at senior level this year. Dancing shoes on n struttin big time next year, hopefully. Kids still only 20 y.o. n very slightly built so it was always going to take some time before Shai found his niche. Hoping he's in line for a couple of year extension n that Carr doesn't *smile* up both ends by trying to nail overs for the kid.

I reckon Carr knows the tigers are a great club for Bolton and he could max his development and talent with us rather than moving club as a 20 year old.

My guess is now that he is starting to getting regular games with us and if he plays a final or two also then I reckon (guess) he will stay for slight unders.

Give him another 2 or 3 years with us and then he will start demanding high coin and the tue bidding will commence.

I predict he will sign a 2 or 3 year contract extension with us.

Don’t think you understand Carr at all. He is not a football person and doesn’t care about tomorrow. He belligerently refused to let Shai accept a 2 year contract last year as he haggled for pennies until RFC had no money left to give after signing everyone else up. He was forced to accept a 1 year contract at the very last moment and could have found himself on the scrap heap if injury or form hadn’t been kind. Carr took a huge gamble with a young mans career and it could have completely backfired. Don’t use conventional football logic when he’s involved in negotiations

Offer him his worth no more then 400
Offer him 3 years.
If he doesn’t accept. We have some currency to trade.
Let’s not drag this out, Bolton isn’t Martin. Either Carr accepts the offer or he better get used to trips to SA or WA.

I quite like Ralph. He orchestrated a great deal for Dusty and RFC. Im sure he'll do the same with $hai.

If I was $hai and I got dropped this week, I would go a full dummy spit and conference call Free and WC on speaker in the RFC gym.

He won't though.

I also believe he will go back to WA.
He will be one of the players we will simply need to let go of in order to keep others.

Shai is doing the right thing for himself and the club by building up his trade value.

Do you know this first hand or is it just another rumour. If it’s your guess, then your guess is as good as mine

Ralph? First name basis Eazy?
Think you’d be alone here if we took a straw poll.
Not sure how you conclude that he brokered a great deal for RFC. Extracted maximum coin and maximum drama. Don’t think you appreciate how close he pushed us to the brink. I think the whole episode is masked by the extraordinary year Dusty had in 2017. I’m not sure we wanted to tie any player up for 7 years but we had no choice. Think Carr played us and North on a break and would have clearly told them that they’re in the game.
He is scum and, I can tell you for a fact, he’s no friend of RFC.

That's an agent's job, to maximise the worth of the players they act for. It takes a certain personality to be one. Don't have to like it, I am sure clubs generally don't. It's all about the negotiation. Has Carr done the wrong thing by Shai Bolton for not taking a 2 year contract. Based on how it looks like playing out now, no.

I catch up with Ralph whenever i'm in Richmond to witness a premiership.

I reckon the dusty deal was a ripper.

we get to see him in yellow and black for 7 years and we didnt squeeze out any players.

The salary cap squeeze is alive and well. It’s why we couldn’t give Shai a longer contract. Great list management had nothing to do with Dusty’s manager.
Agree it’s a great deal for Dusty
Please give Ralph my regards and let him know I’m ready to be managed
