That is a fair effort by Dawson Simpson to play 47 AFL games in 12 seasons!

Ive a a always wanted to know what the record is for a player who spent the most seasons on a AFL/VFL list with the least amount of games.

Not sure if this was the record but Rhino O'Sullivan's record for Carlton must have been up there before Dawson. Was on their list from 1988–1997 and played 62 games. Popular and handy player from memory who had a shocking run with injuries.

Another recent one is Alex Johnson from Sydney. Listed 2011–2018 for 47 games.

Grigga, Scooter (Scott) Thompson, and I'd expect Goldsack and Wells to retire.

Whisper is Hodge might look to go around again in 2020.

It's a pity Angus Graham or Sauce Browne are not still on our list - we could have got a first rounder off GWS!

Ahhh Rangamania had everyone whipped to a frenzy then he played and the excitement crashed faster than the Hindenberg when it came down in a ball of flames.

And The Camel going down with a full body cramp .........My Dearest Baloo fought so so hard for him, such a valiant effort.

In fact I actually credit Baloo with getting the Camel traded to the Crowbaits I believe it was Baloos championing of the Camel that had the Crows wanting to pounce.

This all during a volatile tumultuous time on PRE for Tiger fans the depths of the Darksider / Brightsider conflict.

Never could the newfound love from 2017 be envisioned during those days.

Well played Bear ol son. ;)

Well done to Roughy. Great player for the Horks. Would've loved to have him in our team anytime.

Hayden Ballantyne's another one.

And I believe Nick Smith from Sydaknee is pulling the pin as well as Jarryd McVeigh and Heath Grundy.

Also Doggies hero Dale Morris a great clubman and warrior for the Dogs.

Fair few names finishing up this year.

Who cares. All of them should’ve retired years ago. Just eating away cap space.
Compare this lot to what Grigg did. Injured for 3 months pulled the pin, to give a kid a opportunity what about this lot,
Roughead 2 extra years. What was he expecting a 6th flag??
Thomas 5 extra years. Finished the day he walked out of Collingwood.
Deledio 4 extra years. Should be in the RFC hall of fame. But was finished after 2015.
Sandilands 3 extra years.
Simpson..who?

Aren't we all waiting for Elbowlett to announce his retirement?
