Rusty and poor touch in the early stages but hes missed half a season so expected.

The key here is that Skippa Chimp made it through unscathed.

Another rest and then look out Bears in a fortnight.

Savage Chimp will be in the house at the Gabba nothing is surer, the Tiges will throw everything at them to win margin not important just the win then another week of rest and rehab for our boys.

If we beat the Bears in Brizzy I think we go all the way.

Terrible first half but really worked his way into it. Will be better first final.
I dead set forgot he was playing at half time. Didn’t see him at all. He was okay in second half.

Glad he played this game to get the rust out. We need a lot more than that at the Gabba in 2 weeks.

Had key touches at big times but looks a long way off his best.

But he’s attack on the ball alone makes him worthy of being out there.

Huge presence. Ultimate leader.

Agree. Was very rusty early but mid way through the third quarter he went bang.

Looks unfit.
The crouch is even more prominent.
Should’ve played in the 2’s. Pity the 2’s have more byes then a test match

Had two stoppage clearances for two goals in the third, and looked explosive again. Positive signs for the finals.

He was ok nothing more but will definitely be better for the run assuming he pulled up ok.

The heat is about to be turned right up. I just hope he remains healthy in the finals.

My concerns have been well documented and at half time they were stronger than ever, but he showed a glimpse of why the risk may well be worth the reward in the second half.

I just hope for his sake an injury doesn't cost us.

huh? It was the perfect hitout for a rusty skipper for the finals, perfect. got through the game and contributed. rapt

Definitely rusty, but the game will do him a world of good, he'll be back in 2 weeks and much better for the game time this week.

Selwood is finished, I reckon Cotchin isn’t far away either.
I don’t get ‘rusty’ and ‘find form’.
He looked like he was 43 yesterday, not 29.
Big decisions coming up.
Pay cut or see ya later??

He spent the 1st half in the forward line, and barely touched it. moved on ball in the 2nd half and got involved.
i am pretty sure he wont be playing forward often in the finals.

Needed the run to get some touch n more importantly some confidence in the hammy.
More than happy to see the no further injuries flag flying at the end of the game. Get a run into Nank during the VFL next week n the list will be looking fairly solid for our finals campaign.

I see Cotchin as our wild card for the first final.

For most the of the game we were one inside mid short. Cotchin barely played in the guts. I would be staggered if he isnt lining up in the centre square come the start of the game in a fortnights time.

Yeah a nice gentle run for Cotch. Showed what he can do in the third quarter, onwards and upwards.

Only 71% game time. And as mentioned a lot of early game time down forward. Should be firing on full cylinders next game.
