I’ve always been a big Shedda fan, however at the end of 2016 I wouldn’t have been against sending him back to Adelaide for a second rounder, what a mistake that would have been , besides the fact his become a better footballer each year, he’d also be an our top 5 most consistent =5th Beatle

He is playing better than he ever has but the fact is his improvement is not as dramatic as it seems to those who incorrectly labelled him a dud.

Watched the GF again last night. Gee this guy was good. The one thing that stood out last night was his physicality. There was the hip and shoulder on Hopper but he hit Greene a couple of time and then went on with it when Greene got up. I’m beginning to think his match may have generally been a little under appreciated.

Bit like 2017. It took people time to fully appreciate the impact he had that day. An old fella sitting next to me at that game swore that he should have won the Norm Smith. I thought the poor guy had had a few too many frothies, but after watching it again a lot of times, Shed had a cracking game.

Out of interest, I wish I knew who that old fella was. He was adamant at qtr time that we had the Crows beat and he was full on celebrating a Tiger flag at half time. It was like we were watching different games! I was confident at half time, but I didn't think we had it until Butler's banana in the last.

Probably confident because he'd seen us play a grand final before :p

It wasn't me, but the old bloke and I were on the same page.

He turned the game our way against Lions and again against Geelong the week later. Guy is an absolute ripper. Can see Shai becoming his clone. With maybe even more tricks.

His game in the prelim was extraordinary. A few of those laser 25m handball forward...incredible.

Probably the key in the qualifying too with his third quarter.

Interestingly AFL player ratings had him 3rd best in the granny behind Dusty and Jack. Marlin 5th.

My favourite moment of the finals is his front and centre on the fly at the start of the last in the PF. Key moment in the game. Geelong had just kicked a goal before 3/4 time to make it a 4 point game. Shed swoops in , takes it clean, two Geeloing players grasp at air including Kelly who was in a better initial position to get the ball. Kick to Lambert who doesn't have to break stride in running into an open goal. Pure poetry, pure Shed.

Shedda is the chaos master. Something weird and wonderful happens every time he touches the ball.

His second half in the Prelim was the heart-breaker. That clearance was the moment when we knew the Tigers had this covered.

I love watching him do those things that just defy belief, like grabbing the ball out of the air and getting out a handball as he falls, which lands in the hands of a player running to goal. He’s a magician with ball in hand.

Shedda and Stacky have the right body positioning when it comes to the bump.

Wait til you see Pickett hit someone. He doesn’t go out of his way to do it, but he is as hard as a cats head. Plenty of people in WA reckon Byron has nothing on him in this regard.
