I'm thinking of trying linux, which version would you recommend?

Might even use this wallpaper if I do.

I'd go for LinuxMint - it's not too far from a windowsy OS type experience, well supported and looks good!

Ubuntu is the other popular choice so check that out too - I don't really like the default Unity desktop but you might. You can see the Mac OS style dock on the LHS.

Both can be downloaded as a liveDVD/USB so you can try them out without doing a full install first.

Sorry for the thread hijack MrT!

Thanks Antman.

Thread hijacking over.

Nice wallpapers. Actually I always wondered what that logo on the top left of the screen was, now I see it is part of a larger logo :)

Well I finally took the plunge. Sick of Win10 being so slow and loaded up Linux Mint dual booting on my laptop. Faster, just as easy, just works so well. As a bonus, no-one owns this, it is built by a community for no profit. So much for humans always acting for their own personal gain as claimed by some.

Thanks for the advice Antman.

Might add a PRE wall paper too.

Linux Mint is incredibly easy, thanks for the offer Antman but no need.

Only problem I have is the unreliable router I have
