This may be so, but this is my whole problem with the AFL. It is just a front and stands for nothing but dollars in its pocket.

The Carlton fine is ridiculous. The Grandparents make a mistake and the club gets whacked. FFS

And now I see Eddie M is carrying on about booting offenders out of the hub blah blah blah. Of course, that is until the Pies are involved, then he’ll look like an idiot again.

I’m really sick of this garbage.

He is a massive Big mouth.
Give it a week before a Collingwood player brings the game into disrepute.
He should be the last person giving out advise about the punishment.
What was his vice captain doing??

how could you catch Covid in an empty room?

Anyone who watch her hubby play on Wednesday must understand she deserved a treat.

Maybe I'm drawing way too long a bow. ...

Mrs. Cotchin attends day spa and inadvertently becomes a close contact of one of those selfish women who snuck back into Qld and roamed free for 8 days, possibly even the one who refuses to divulge where she's been .... (who may or may not frequent such places) ...
Returns to her husband who is now deemed a contact of a contact who then comes into contact with the playing group who are also now contacts of a contact who's been in close contact to someone who's a confirmed close contact of someone who's a postive carrier.
If for instance this comes to light after we've played a couple more teams..... just about season over isn't it?

McChins is calling the Norf v Ravens game, I wonder what is said at halftime, if anything.

Collingwood staff caught playing Tennis.
Lets see whats worse Eddie.
A players wife going to get personel massage at a day spa
Or members of your STAFF playing Tennis in area that isn't included under the hub rules.
I Hope Mark McGowan doesn't toss them out of the state.

Relax mate.
She went to day spa on her own.
5 minutes away.
People get caught up on the fine.
Did you actually believe the clubs pay it??
Its the afl playing tough guy.
The players are doing the AFL a favour. Not the other way around.
If Brooke gets sent home, i hope Trent follows her.
One in all in.
The AFL can kiss my ass

What makes you say that the clubs dont pay the fines? Is there evidence of this?

The AFL is at the players mercy.
The players don't to be away from home.
If the AFL is all tough and strong, while are family members in hubs?? Why didn't they ban them??
Its not to *smile* off the players.
The players don't have contracts saying that 3 months a year they will be away from home.
The AFL has to trend carefully otherwise there might be a 250 million short fall.
The player's are keeping the league going not the AFL.
Where's the apology from the clubs?
The club's told the AFL to shove the fines up there ass.
Cotchin withdrawl 20k to give to Hocking.
Pack it up and head home boys.

I am not dirty on Brooke.

But I reckon she should have been fined, similar to a breach in Victoria for ~$1650. I think it is wrong the club was fined and was out of proportion.

That's quite a bizarre post.

You're aware that the AFL pays players wages directly? If there was to be a 250 million dollar hole the players would suffer more than anyone. The players and the AFL interests are probably more closely aligned than the AFL and the clubs.

Im starting the SZL, the AFL can go and jump
