No, you need to wait for TBR's coding. You are blatantly biased and one-eyed, obviously! The Ant will be along to back this up.

I'll back up anyone on here who at least provides evidence and isn't afraid to have a different opinion, whether I agree with their opinion or not.

Was the context. They were saying we'd play Port if we finish 4th. We can't finish 4th

and Ricciuto said twice that we would play Port if they won on Monday. These guys get paid how much to do this job?

A few posters on here need to hang their heads in shame. ‘Danger game’ ‘we’ll lose this’
Clearly you are not true tiger supporters or know anything about our game!

When you said "loss written all over it" it was clear you were referring to Adelaide so all good @seven

Evidence? Or opinion?

It's mostly opinion at the end of the day timbo but TBR at least makes a case and supports that with evidence, as when he went through the game and analysed each free-kick and non-free kicks. Copping pile-ons for having a different opinion doesn't worry TBR either, another reason I respect him on here.

We comfortably beat Geelong and West Coast in the last 4 games. Why would Port prefer to play us?

Yeah, dunno who will the Port/Collingwood game, it's tight. But if Port want to play us instead of Geelong they've got rocks for brains.

Anyway I think both coaches would be happy with that game. Adelaide had a good crack and got in a few good tackles and pressure acts, and tried to move the ball quick in our D50, got some reward for that too. We were never going to lose this game and Nicks will cop the loss and go get top pick in the draft. He's done OK and Adelaide show signs of life going forward.

For us, kept our structure, kicked straight, dominated I50s despite good pressure. Great signs from Ross, Sheds, and I'm still wrapt with defensive efforts from Pickett and Kmac. Astbury, what can you say. Great game. Aarts and Caddy the only injury worries but we've got two weeks to get 'em right. Another typical George game, good pressure and kicked a goal... but it's not enough for mine. Rioli similar... but I reckon they both stay in.

Also got a look at Chol and Caddy, one failed and one succeeded but maybe we keep Chol as second ruck anyway, although he barely deserves it.

Dimma's only problem now is how to fit all our talent in for the first final.

Just for starters then. What's your opinion for the almost continuous free-kick count being heavily loaded against my team, the Tigers? Like 17/8 today? You clearly don't rate the opinions of the many dedicated football fans, long-tern close followers of RFC, apparently their eyes and brains are fooling them match after match? For years? Is that dismissed because it's just biased opinion? Unlike yours though. Cannot be regarded as evidence, yet it's a mathematical fact, I suppose? We are just blind, stupid, biased fools - unlike you ... and some rare others? We know nuthing.

Just a mathematical fluke? Right. Or, hang on. I get it ... it's the coding that TBR refers to. It is AFL mathematical coding for this bias to occur almost every game.
All good then. Coding makes it OK. Who can argue with that. But here's some more facts for you. Note we seem to have the worst % for any team in the 8 easily. Go and look at how we went against Mogs last game despite them hardly much better than us overall:

Geelong gave them a right pantsing in their match a few rounds ago.

Aarts has been one of our best players so far. If he played for Adelaide he would not have 3 frees against.
Plays smart does Faarts. When the *smile* hits the fan n they're all over him, he simply locks the ball in. Concedes the free n we get just enough time to set up our defensive structures, rather than letting random loose ball allowing the opposition to escape.

I respect most posters on here whether I disagree with them or not. I don't care if people are one-eyed, it's a Richmond forum, I expect no less. I'll still call it how I see it.

To be honest I find the umpiring debate tedious - most of it is explained by our pressure game. We are a high tackling, high pressure team and we are happy to give away free kicks as it gives us a chance to win the spilled ball or slow the oppo game down which again gives us a better chance to turn the ball over. I've said this many times.

As for losing the free kick count when playing away interstate, that's a statistical fact. It happens. Is it conscious or subconscious umpire bias? I don't care, as long as we win the game, or if we lose we make the four and win the flag.

Do you reckon Dimma and coaches lose much sleep over losing the free kick count in a 44 point win? Do you reckon the players do? I don't.
