Agree. To me he seems really reluctant to take the space in front of him. I think it’s got more prominent as the season has gone on. I suspect it’s a consequence of his ankle injuries. He may have lost some confidence in his ability burst at speed from a standing position.

That 'slip' 2 minutes into the game, forecast the way he played.

First half wasn't in it. Second half 10 disposals and made things happen a bit more. Doing a lot better than he was a month ago. Just needs to now pick it up another notch.
