Ok guys, it's that time of the year again.

I am looking to score a barcode off someone who is unable to go to the Grand Final.

It's not for me, but for a friend of mine who lives in Hobart. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

These are the rules as far as I understand it:

- Your registered address with the RFC must be outside of Victoria (if you live in VIC your barcode is invalid unless you have already advised the club you are in QLD).

- You need to be a silver member or above (at least 5 years).

If you meet this criteria, but can't make it to the Gabba, are you able to help out a fellow Tiger supporter? The more Tiger supporters we get there, the better.

If so, can you kindly inbox me your 12 digit barcode?

Thank you

You can’t go if you are in NSW either.

See further info in extract from email I got from club below. Sounds like they don’t want people to pass on bar codes

Richard,
We're through to the 2020 Toyota AFL Grand Final! We're beyond thrilled to have made it and certainly couldn't have done it without your support.

We're emailing you today with specific details regarding the on-sale of Grand Final tickets.

Based on Queensland state border restrictions as of 24 hours prior to the first Grand Final on-sale, only members who reside in Queensland OR reside in states with open borders to Queensland will be eligible to purchase tickets for the 2020 Toyota AFL Grand Final.

As per our membership terms and conditions, membership cards and associated benefits are for personal use only and may not be transferred to another person under any circumstance. Due to COVID-19 contact tracing requirements, the member name(s) must correspond with the ticket purchaser and attendee name(s).

As an eligible 2020 Club member, you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2020 Toyota AFL Grand Final. As indicated, priority access to purchase tickets will apply, based on your 2020 membership.

As a Maurice Rioli club member I wish I could help. Since I can’t go due to being in Victoria I would have liked to have helped a fellow tiger attend at least. The more Tigers there the better. I know it’s a donation to the club since I can’t use it but it does seem a waste that I can’t “ lend” it to someone that could

Guy on Boof Footy says his partner works in Qld Health covid response. Says its likely that Wed or Thurs the game will be declared 100% capacity open. Then general admin will be released. Thousands of them.

WTF. I’m priority 2 and my email from RFC said log in to Ticketmaster at 2pm AEST. Is this some sort of daylight savings *smile* and it means 3pm?

I can get in To the website but can’t purchase tickets.
Very stressful. Having flashbacks to last year.

2pm Brisbane time. I’m in a meeting right now but disclosed to my colleagues of my unavailability at 2!

Those in QLD who want to go . I know many who won’t be using RFC allocation but have purchased package in regards to accomodation, meals and drinks package before and after game and premium seat. Cost $2k . Worth every cent

That's what I've done Stig. Couldn't bear the stress of trying to get a ticket (esp if Lions made it) so I made the drunken purchase of Before the Bounce package after the PF on Friday night. $1,900 but once in a lifetime opportunity in Brisbane. I would also spend that in flights and accommodation heading to Melb for a GF so even more justification!

yes, on top of the usual GF tix stress,

QLD throw in the time difference.

my internet froze and I had to drive to a neighbours at 130km/hr,

but got tix. Worst tix stress by a mile out of 17, 19 and 20,

but what a privilege and good fortune to have the stress

compare to our Vic brothers and sisters

Got them. On my way. Just need to organise flights, accommodation, someone to look after the kids and somewhere for the dog to stay.
