Didn't pick up that it was a preseason time and RCD has explosive speed so a slip of your pen in pegging him as slow.

Yep on Adelaide, the key forwards are back, everyone needs one.

While we are on speed Jack Ross clocked 2.95 sec for 20 metre sprint at State Combine which is in the elite category but agree that speed doesn't appear to the eye game day.
His time pales in comparison to Ben Miller who clocked 2.91 sec at combine o_O

I expect us to pick a key position player at 17 (which will be pushed back to 20). My tip is Baldwin. A top 10 talent on u16 form and we can afford to bring him on slowly.

we'd have to take Nick Cox if he was there at 17 (possible?) wouldn't we?

200cm Vic Metro co-captain with a big engine (6 minute 2km), speed, good overhead and neat by foot.

he's my man at this stage.

Is he the kid with the double knee reco?
1.5 - The second one was only a partial tear.

Enough examples of elite kids dropping due to injury that you shouldn't be spooked by. Max King coming off a knee reco.

He'd be top 10 if not for the second reco

Do you reckon he'll go that high that we'd need to use our 1st? Chris Doere had us drafting him with our 2nd, which would seem a great value pick based on talent but with a fair amount of risk. I wonder if with smaller list sizes, some clubs may be more reluctant to draft players with significant injuries, meaning they drop to those clubs who have more of an opportunity to taking risks on players like we are.

Haven't heard any talk of Dan Rioli's brother, Brayden.

I know he is zoned to the drug cheats and was talked up two years ago but haven't heard a thing about him since.

Anyone with any knowledge of if he is expected to get drafted this year?

Nick Cox would be a dream come true and is exactly the right fit for Richmond but highly unlikely he is available to Richmond at pick 21/22 which is where our pick will fall after academy bids are taken.

Macrae ,Powell,Cook,Reid, cox, carroll.perkins are all kid fits but doubtful many if any are still on the board , Baldwin with 2 knee's is a very risky selection
Eddy Ford is the player i am quietly hoping at #17 pick and Josh Green at our #36 with a later bid for MRJ

either way i know our recruiters have 'Good Eyes' In queensland & WA so wouldnt surprise me to see an interstate kid be taken

I’m a stay away from Cox. Not sure he plays big enough for me. Not sure he has enough grunt.

200cm utility, I just don’t know. I hope he’s someone else’s dilemma to uncork.

I can see that scoop. You want to see a 200cm 18 year old squash someone or shake them senseless in a highlights package.

I'm surprised Ford is not appearing in any top-25 lists. He seems the prototype to come on in leaps and bounds as a top-ager, getting more midfield time than just playing forward. So many tools. Strong. Aggressive. Hands. Neat by foot. Kicks goals. You'd want to see how he tests but I really like him.

Genuine consideration.
Is Eddie Ford a typical pick for us?
Not fast or high endurance so doesnt seem to meet our athletic criteria

I’m hoping that Caleb Poulter is around at our pick. Big mid and tested quite well at the SA combine. His game in the u18 all stars was awesome
