Luckiest people to survive cull would have to be Eggs and Garth.
Being kept as back up but still lucky.
And to lesser extent Cujo and Syd a Knee.
Massive off season for them.
Throw in Simon Phoenix as well.
If they have not progressed 12 months from now you would not expect them to survive again.

So let me get this straight, our AA fullback retired late in 2019 and yet despite many delistings from AFL clubs he is still, technically, on our list.

Is that correct?

I wonder.....

I believe Alex contract has now expired, he is on our list until list lodgements occur in the coming weeks/months, wouldn't get to excited unfortunately.

TV was great.
Footy shows.
Sports shows.
Sportsmen.
People....

‘Hamburger with the lot’
Unfortunately all ya get now is McChew n Spew, Hangry Jerkoffs or some overpriced wanker Gourmet burger with stray hipster pubes included. Hard to find a proper Burgler n local fishnchippery.

Very good question Dj. Googling tells me he’s a Wesley Snipes character in a movie......think I might have the wrong bloke!

Cholly's haircut is very similar to Simon Pheonix hence the nickname

Is the club on the verge of delisting anyone else or is this it?
No news on Rance's contract status..
Houli, Egg, Garth, Miller?

Aren't final list lodgements after the draft?
We will most likely take Rioli and 2 other kids.
2 have been delisted Turner and English.
Higgins traded out.
That's only 3.
3 more will get cut.
Rance, Cathwaite and maybe Naish or Eggy.
I still reckon Hardwick will keep a spot available for the midseason draft.
Just in case...

No, thats not correct, he is contracted till end of 2021

On the 20/06/2015 he signed a 4 year deal (till Oct 2019) then on 12/07/2018 he signed a further 2 year extension - till Oct 2021

Cheers Taz, not disagreeing but saw Slowy a few weeks back post somewhere that that day was the last day Alex was a contracted tiger, could be wrong but Slowy generally knows these things.

Edit PS; he also has said previously that Alex is retired and wont return to football anywhere.

I know Slowy well, I reckon he is wrong about contract status !!, its pretty clear we haven't delisted YET and hence still under contract

Taz, I know that we kept Rance on our list, but wasn't his contract paid out. From memory he accepted a reduced payment of his contract.

The way i interpreted what Slowy wrote was that he wasnt delisted, just like Eggs and other players that their contracts have currently expired, but he wont be re-signed (eggs and others out of contract might be??), meaning he renegotiated his contract when retiring and that had expired, so no delisting required (just wont be offered a new contract when list submissions are in).

Again, im not involved and live overseas but thats how i read it, i could be wrong as slowy could be.
