Posted a couple of hundred grand profit, similar to us. Mind you, they get massive equalisation overs from the AFL to keep them afloat. Also claim that they've fully paid out their previous two coaches, so there's no ongoing debt bar about half a mill total.
Sorry TM just posted further to yours above.
I believe the remaining debt is quite small. I did hear it somewhere and was amazed at the figure. Now I can’t remember it.

North posted I believe a $200k profit.
They have nearly wiped their massive debt clean ( think within 10) years. They expect to be debt free next year.
Wha...
thought covid would have crippled them.

You might find their afl div is plus 5m on ours

Yep waiting to see what the AFL payments to clubs is. The more appropriate way to review clubs, is splitting the AFL payments between TPP and dividends. For example, with North I expect them to have profited from the TPP (ie. I doubt they paid 100% of the TPP this year unlike the Tigers) and I'd hazard a guess that their dividend is much higher.

Would be interesting to see what losses each club makes excluding AFL dividends. Reckon you'd see as very varied set of financials. They are currently warped by the divi. Ie. I fully expect Richmond to make a lower net loss excluding divis compared to North.

I think North would be the least effected by Covid
Pre Covid crowds - 6,000 a game
covid crowd - 5,800 a game playing in queensland and away

Sun headline today:

'Flag plus $10million in jobkeeper barely keep Tigers afloat'

Meanwhile Bulldogs post $1.8 million profit o_O , (which does not include the sale proceeds they received from the sale of their gaming ventures).

Clearly Footscray don't need subsidies.

How do they make a profit like that in a year like this? Something very fishy about that result.

Looks like they got the razor sharp knife out. They reduced footy department spend by $7.1m down from $25.9m (27.5%) compared to the Tiges $4.8m reduction from $28.4m or 16.9%.

I'm starting to compile a list of each clubs income statements to see how each club has done things differently. Its not all that easy as every club reports things differently.

They received $3.5m compared to our $10.8m. Looking at the decline in health and fitness revenue (but similar costs to 2019 for the Tiges) then I suspect the big difference is mainly in health and fitness which the Dogs don't operate in that segment.

The Blues well and truly on the spin machine. Haven't even stated how much they received in JobKeeper. I suspect they have shown it as cost recovery and therefore not broken it out at all.

Wouldn't get too worried. Two things:
1. We won the premiership in Oct and the books closed at 31/10? someone can confirm this? Nevertheless, it doesn/t incorporate sales from merchandise, I expect the benefit of this to flow back in 2021 and new sales for 2021 year. This should be a sizable amount.
2. fitness business, should start rolling and peaking mid feb 2021, this will be sufficient income.
