Welcome to the club Samson. Keep the locks throughout your career and hope you enjoy your time with fellow Brisbane academics in Cumberland and Martyn. Maybe this tactic from the Tiges is a subtle troll back at the Lions' recent past drafting and trading strategy of taking in players who played alongside one another at their junior clubs in the hope of long term player retention?

He’s got the confused look of the true ruck doofus. Not necessarily a bad thing. Many of these doofi are falloverologists, large men who make an art form of spilling their hulking frames all over unlucky opponents. Nobody likes Mumford, but we have to admit he knows how to manufacture an ‘accident’ that ends with an oppo rib cage being relieved of its air. Nearly killed Dion once. Our own Nank has skill in this space. But he’s more of a uniform squasher. Like he’s trying to deflate a lilo really quickly. Then there’s big Staff - the true king of falloverology IMO. He brought pointiness. And random aggro. I hope big Samson knows how to fall on blokes.
Welcome Samson.

Looking forward to seeing more info about this lad but we have good history with later picks. Obviously a work in progress project but he could be something special. Anyway welcome to the club Samson

Ah yes, i still have memories of sitting on the top deck of the northern stand watching the Hawks rush out to a 50 point lead.

Enter Stafford accidentally staving spider Everitt's face in, and from that point not only reeling their lead in, but winnng rather comfortably!

If there is one player on our list that proves how good our development is, it is Soldo.

I have complete faith in us providing this guy with all the right tools and headspace to contribute.

Looks and plays like Gus the Bus Graham. Underwhelming is an understatement. Should have taken Sam Walsh’s brother

I reckon we must have someone on the inside of The Lions Academy?

welcome Big Sammy.

Get your snake on, oo oo, get your snake oooooooonnnnnnn

I think we are plotting our next game changing dynasty to run concurrently

with The Midget and Dusty Dynasty

Lets call it The Goliaths Dynasty until we think of a better name.

The game plan is to have a man mountain on every line - 3 genuine huge snakey ruck men.

They taps everything down the throat of $hai, Dusty, Dow, MRJ to the point the opposition get 0 clearances and

they dominate the air. and they physically punish the opposition.

But we play just one in grandfinals, and run the top-heavy opposition off their feet.

we rotate the 3 through premierships.

We will be the land of giants next year.
206cm Sampson and 208cm Balta's cousin.
We will be hitting the ball out of the ruck into the goal square.

This is not a long term prospect. This is cover. He's not a skinny baby. Fairly well built. Richmond man. Competitor. Wouldn't surprise if he plays games. There is footage going around. Looks OK.

Welcome young fella.

Not exactly sure with Nank Soldo CCJ Chol & Balta's cousin coming we needed another long term ruck. Wouldn't have minded a mature cheap pickup for a year as backup for next season , but not sure if the young fella will provide that option next year.

I thought a key forward or back developing was more of a need but welcome to the club & all the best.
