They are the masters of diversion Baloo and they are incredibly good at it
yes, there was a piece yesterday stating that the reason the PM's first covid jab looked a bit disorganised is because it was moved forward at the last minute. It was meant to be today but I guess there may have been reasons the PM wanted to shift focus to his jab.

BTW, noticed he was wearing, I think, an Aussie cricket top, with SCOMO on the back. Has anyone told him just how pathetic that looks?

I am not sure the Labor stand for nothing, but even if they did I would rather a party that stands for nothing than the current bunch we have.

i wonder how many of those who will continue to vote for the Libs are men who say they would take matters into their own hands if their daughter was raped, or talk big words when a women's rape makes the front of the Hun.

if you care about women's safety and vote Liberal you are a hypocrite.

That's like saying if you vote labour you endorse the likes of John Sekta's brand of union thuggery and intimidation? And condone his demeaning of women and domestic violence?

So you think any male that votes for the liberal party condones rape?

Hopefully those in the party that have ignored this behaviour are held accountable.

Even worse it was a netball top, you know to demonstrate how Scummo isn't a misogynist. He apparently changed into it at the last minute. Also he was meant to get the jab with Albonese and maybe Bandt but guess what moved his jab forward to grandstand.

Such a shallow man. Nothing more than a poll-watcher this bloke.

All optics and no substance.

After how many years of poor behaviour and thuggery? And abuse and disrespect of women? His behaviour has been tolerated & despicable for years. He is still a hero to grass roots workers.

If those complicit in this behaviour of the LNP are expelled/forced to resign/prosecuted if appropriate and held accountable (not that Sekta has really been held accountable) wouldn't that be the same?

The really depressing part of this is that despite this LNP government having all these issues as well as a litany of corrupt behaviours, if an election was held tomorrow they would almost certainly win.
I am not fully sure why that is but part of it has to be the sorry state of the opposition who imo have reduced themselves to a party that seems to believe in nothing.
Politics has been reduced to jingoism for some as well and no one plays that game better than the Libs.

I've worked out what's wrong with our democracy. It's representational and most of us are stupid. Plus 3-4 yearly elections mean governments play a short game. What we need is an altruistic despot bent on ensuring the continued existence of human life. We should call for tenders.

Really? A netball top? Did he think that will make all the sexual assault allegations not his problem?

Sekta is a union boss, and was a Labor member. He has never held a position within the Labor party. Blaming Labor for his behaviour is akin to blaming the Libs for the behaviour of a Murdoch.

we know those complicit in the handling of the response to the alleged rapes wont be held accountable because it appears to be the whole party. The leadership is, and always has been mostly men who have a 1950s view of women. While I reckon Morrison reference to his wife was an attempt at spin (which is typical of his actions), which backfired, it is consistent with his behaviour, highlighted recently when answering for a female colleague when she was asked hwo she was treated within the party.

Don't disagree on the liberal party leadership.

Sekta is a labor hero and power broker. His union have influenced selection of labor candidates for years. Has is a misogynist, scumbag. If you support the CFMEU you must endorse such behaviour. Labor accepts large donations from the CFMEU, I don't recall them electing to cut ties with them recently? Does that mean they condone his behaviour?

The CFMMEU is a terrible organisation and a stain on a union movement as it tries to stay relevant. It has also had influence on the ALP, including the Victorian premier.
It also has donated significant funds to the ALP.
All that says to me is that political parties are all compromised and are all influenced by scum bags and organisations that have low moral thresholds.

That's loyal of him. Craig Kelly quits the Libs because Morrisson wanted Frank Zumbo fired.
