Just thought I would add this here (maybe we need a Round 3 ticketing thread??).

Rang the member line, geez they are swamped, but still keeping their temper somehow, tough job today I reckon.

I had some questions about the superstore voucher, they gave me my voucher number although I just realised it is the same as my daughter's voucher number, hmm, think there might be a stuff up there. The voucher is for $40 so as long as they allow me to order 2 scarves then I really don't care. I think we were supposed to get $40 each as AFL and AFLW members.

Asked about Round 3 ballot and no email. The guy said the email should come by Thursday, he thought it was a mistake that the ballot was listed to open today - seemed to think that the ballot may be opening today but the email going out before Thursday. So, if you don't see an email by the end of Thursday ring on Friday and they can sort it out. I just think it may be a bit disorganised at the moment as they are hitting a peak of phone calls and the like and it is damned near impossible to get enough staff for a big peak, especially since trying to bring casuals in means trying to give them enough training to work whatever system they have.

I see mine in the Richmond app and don't know if Android phones have a similar app to the Apple wallet.

No idea how I could print from a phone, normally I have been able to access the tickets in Ticketek or Ticketmaster and once that is the case I can print to pdf and then print that on our printer.

Oh well, I might just have to accept that I will be waving my phone under the turnstile to get in. Not the end of the world!

DS

take a screenshot of the QR code on your phone, send that screenshot by email to yourself, open on PC/laptop and print

Sorted. Downloaded the ticketek app and when I log in and view my history, I can open my ticket and see the QR code on it. Not happy about being slugged the $18 upgrade cost.

The $20 voucher doesn't seem to be included in the AFLW memberships, just the AFL memberships. I got a $60 voucher between me and my two daughters:

Same... got my ticket but got slugged $18 as well... what's that about? I'm level 4 row DD so hard to see how I got upgraded, except from outside maybe

anyway will be my first live game for 3 years or so, so I'm stoked about that.

It seems that way, but the communication is very confusing - they addressed an email to my daughter with the voucher, no mention of me. Apart from the fact I pay for the memberships, we have different surnames so it should be made a lot clearer. Should have sent the email to both of us or made it clear in some way. The email to my daughter makes no mention of the fact it is the voucher for both of us.

Does your $60 voucher email mention that it is for all 3 of you?

Yep never known anyone to be anything other then “stoked” about getting in the DDs

No, I originally got a $40 voucher sent to two of our three email addresses with the same voucher number.
When I rang to question it, they changed it to a $60 voucher.

you’re right, it is very confusing and they could have made it much clearer

M56 for me!

This thread is reminiscent of the 2017 & 2019 GF ticket threads.
Lets hope the crowd capacity increases after this week.

They should be paying you for those tickets. At least you get to see the tigers again.

Did you get that in the General Reserved ticket sale, Ace?

Strange if you did because that bay is part of the Punt Road End Family reserved seat section, and I’m still waiting to see if I’ve got the two tickets I went in the ballot for.

I’m actually not holding out much hope of going as the day gets closer...

I fell for the old "Best Available" trick instead of reloading, as was busy at work and just wanted a ticket. Normally I'd just head down to standing room but guess that ain't an option this week

Does anyone know if we have to prepurchase tickets every week for the season? I assume we do since our membership card doesn’t get us in anymore

I have 3 tickets all on the same app, so wondering if its better to take screenshots of the QR codes, so that I can cycle through them quicker. Do we think this will work rather than accessing through the app when going through the turnstile?

That’s what I always do. Easier to find photos than my wallet app! A screenshot works fine at the scanners!

Stupid question possibly. After all the drama rushing to make sure we get tickets before they sold out, does anyone know if the game is actually sold out?

Thing is that we are both now adult members too so maybe they should send things separately to us. I still get the emails which go to my daughter as well (she also gets the emails to her email address) and she uses our home address for everything Richmond membership related, but, she is a paid up adult member so no idea why they are being bunched together.

From what I was sent I thought all reserved seat and reserved bay members who entered the ballot got a ticket. I would normally be in M1 or M2, but am in M13 so we're all being thrown around to different spots. But you should see what is going on if you were in that ballot and haven't got a ticket in the app and an email telling you that you can download your ticket. Seems wrong given what they indicated in their email last week.

The Best Available is terrible. The worst thing is last year when I booked tickets early I got row V or W or the like. When I went in to look at ticket availability the map showed all the rows in front of me were "unavailable". Then, I checked again a couple of weeks later and you could buy Row B or Row D. I have no idea how that happens but it sucks.
