We could win the next five and be 7-2 with a head of steam.

St Kilda at Marvel - with our current injuries and the venue, I actually think this will be the hardest, but we seem to be building intensity. Plus, the Saints are overrated plodders.

Melbourne at the MCG - gimme a spell. We got them.

Bulldogs at the MCG - at Marvel I'd chalk this down as a L. At the G? I don't think the Dogs play the G particularly well and we can trouble them with width.

Geelong at the MCG - bunnies. We win with fast movement.

GWS at Marvel - yes please.

StKilda and GWS non-negotiable - just must win those 2.

Geelong will be harder with the revenge factor.

Footscray are playing well, but they do over possess a bit. Listened to the game on the radio today while cleaning records, they had less possessions than Brisbane from what I remember the commentators saying, if so, that makes them more dangerous. We will really need to bring the heat on Footscray as they are genuinely good. Plus you can expect they will get at least 10 more frees than us so there's a few goal advantage before we even get started (4 or 5 if Deboy is still considered a competent umpire by then).

Melbourne are an interesting one. They are good and we would want to have CCJ in for a couple of games before this one. Can't afford to let their ruck/centreline get clearances at will.

I think it comes back to not getting smashed out of the middle, when that happens we get done.

We will need at least two of the next four to stay close enough to challenge. The Saints at Marvel can be tough when they get their pressure up.

Yep, history tells us this is about where we need to be. Don't think we want to be playing well enough to be 7-2 at this stage.

I think Aints and Dees are the games we could drop. Dogs at the G, Cants at the G and Giants at Marvel we should be able to manage.

Fri April 30. Tigers V Dogs is a big round.

it will be the dogs first proper test, and we'll be looking at putting it into 3rd gear.

Theyve fixed us up a bit this year with the draw, trying to hobble us.

In saying though we expected Sydney and Melbourne to be easy wins, just our luck they are running at top speeed right now when we are just going.

The very barest minimum of easier games allocated to the Tigers.

1 - 1, so much for winning 5 on the bounce. Tough games to come.

Yep, AA
The next few weeks are going to be tough games.
The results of the next month (which could very well definitively shape the remainder of the season) will tell us where the Tigers are at.
