Reasonable to let him go visit his father. Even if there is an issue it is the middle of the season, nowhere near the pointy end, and I reckon it might give him a bit of a break. The off season was short, he just won a third Norm Smith and while he is good at avoiding the media, going off to NZ will hopefully give him a mental break.

He will be ok. He will go and sit with his dad and get that part of not seeing his dad in such a long time off his chest and he will be back ready to go.
Rance did something that made him walk away.

Strange post. Dusty times his run to peak just in time to collect a norm smith. Was a bit surprised with his early season form. 2017 Dusty will never occur again. I'll settle for 2019 and 2020 Dusty.
