the following helped us win according to Kane Cornes. The dusty goal that was reviewed probably wasn't a goal. Giants should have been paid a free kick (in the square) in the last minute. A lucky bounce gifted Rioli a goal.

I’m sure Kane thinks the game should have been played at Giants Stadium even though it was at our home game. Richmond gets way too many home games.

James Mottershead from the HS has just outed himself as having no knowledge of football given his votes:

D Martin 3
J Hooper 2
J Kelly 1

He's saying that both Hooper and Kelly had a better game than Baker even though Baker had 21 2nd half disposals (33 overall) compared to Hooper (15/35) and Kelly (12/27) and dragged us across the line.

Pressure pts: Baker 75, Hooper 42, Kelly 45
Meters gained: Baker 529, Hooper 395, Kelly 398
Clearances: Baker 8, Hooper 11, Kelly 3
Contested Pos: Baker 16, Hooper 20, Kelly 12

Sure, Hooper had more clearances and contested possession as he was up against a second string midfield.

He has no idea

Anyone who watched that game and didn’t have Baker in the best 3 players on the ground clearly has no idea.

Hooper has been mentioned for a few years of Richmond's interest. That extra first round pick, could be interesting.

Not counting last year, the last time Richmond drew a crowd of fewer than 19,000 to a game in Melbourne was Round 12, 2004 v Fremantle at the MCG - 18,666.
We were 13th at the time and Freo 8th.

Wow, that is a long time ago, thanks for finding that.

Haha, go for it Kane, you can believe that all you want. We just won a game with no centreline, a game where we were well down and looked gone mid way through the last. Yep, 3 flags in 4 years is just luck, a favourable draw, never leaving the MCG and love from the umpires. What is that guy on, I want some.

He clearly didn't agree with the Dusty goal, but with the technology available they had to go with umpires call. Noticed when he moved onto the Port game he couldn't avoid having another dig at Richmond when talking about the goal review for that one that nutmegged Treloar, "they at least got that one right". Well Kane, I agree the technology isn't good enough, but the ARC got that call on Dustys goal CORRECT bearing in mind what they could see. They couldn't overturn it on instinct or whatever he would call it. It has to be conclusive, no conclusive evidence and its a goal, simple as that.

What about Eddie? How many times did he make reference to the nightclub incident and trying to be funny at the same time.

Full credit to Dimma last night. With all our outs at the moment he managed our midfield well - especially in the second half. He had George, Aarts, Rioli all rolling through the centre and back half of the ground including centre bounces.

50% of George’s possessions were accumulated in the defensive half of the ground.

Are you related to Dimmachamp fella ? ;)
Fair call. Might have gone a bit early. Four goals down and playing an unorganised, inefficient style of footy like we have for most of the year.
To be honest, i stand by it. Our game plan and execution has been mostly poor all season
