How is it that not one vendor in Australia has had a SubDude isolation platform in stock for weeks on end? Did every bastard on double dole payments decide to upgrade their hi-fi setup at the same time?
Doesn't car insurance cover that?Because MVA victims injuries lead to enormous financial costs and TAC is the funding body.
Car insurance covers your car, not you. The TAC pays for many things in the rehab of car accident victims.Doesn't car insurance cover that?
I just think it's way too high. My Dad knew 2 blokes who got workers comp but still moved around well.Car insurance covers your car, not you. The TAC pays for many things in the rehab of car accident victims.
Good idea Red. Especially mobile phone users.Thinking about setting up a company that contracts to the State Government and uses unmarked cars with video recording and marking and identifier technology that captures and fines the endless recklessness, stupidity and law breaking on our roads. Not talking about speeding. Talking about people doing other illegal and dangerous things on the road eg coming to a stop on the Monash coz a **** wit decides they wanna get off on an exit ramp but are only 50 metres away and 3 lanes wide of the exit.
And all the other never ending ahole, reckless activities Melbourne drivers get up to.

I never heard about the eating and drinking part. The one thing I don't understand about some of these laws is:
- Can't use your phone, its a distraction
- Can't have a soft drink whilst driving, its a distraction
- Can't have a bite to eat whilst driving, its a distraction
- Crack out that smoke whilst you are driving, its all good.
Yesterday was in the outside lane of a 2 lane road, behind 1 car driving 20-25kph below the speed limit. End up undertaking, the old chick driving the car is smoking, outside lane, significantly below the speed limit (likely because she was focusing on her smoke) lead to what essentially was dangerous driving.
My point is - why is it still acceptable to smoke whilst you are driving but not to do other things??
You will be fined for driving too far under the speed limit by Redford P. Reds Road Rectification Inc. My guys will pick those dolts up.The one thing I don't understand about some of these laws is:

Don't think there's a specific law against it. But the law says you must be in control of your vehicle at all times, so they could use their discretion to get you on it. I never heard of anyone being charged for eating or drinking while driving.I never heard about the eating and drinking part.

Geez...don't remind me of those turtles on the road. So many around. You will be fined for driving too far under the speed limit by Redford P. Reds Road Rectification Inc. My guys will pick those dolts up.
That’s an easy one for us and Vic Pol. 15% commission. Alright.

Eating an ice cream requires a bit of skill with a manual gearbox. Especially if it's melting.
What about the ones who come to a complete and utter stop when turning left at an intersection. Or drive way. Like they come to a complete stop, think about it, then dribble at 2kph like they’re turning a massive water wheel inside the car.Geez...don't remind me of those turtles on the road. So many around.
I drink (scull) water coming back from the gym.The weirdest one I've seen was in the US. I actually saw someone eating a kebab whilst using a knife and fork whilst driving.
I would never do that, but I have eaten other things, chocolate bars, chips, sandwiches etc. Nothing that requires utensils!
