Naish and Ross not up to it.
Ralph Smith needs more time developing.
Houli Astbury looked like they're on there last legs
Poor selections coming into the game.
Baker's kicking is a huge issue.
And the umpires did what i expected them to do.
They got them out to 5 goal lead before they went back to umpiring normally.

Nank looked tired in the second half.
Hope they take notice
Yeah he really did.

At least we left Balta in the one position, and he killed it. Our best player tonight IMO.

But astbury and Marlion paid the price for our refusal to play a second ruck.

I think now that it must have been DIMMA'S kebab that CCJ dropped on the gold coast, and he has not forgiven him

Lynch, Riewoldt, Martin.
Can’t kick more the 11 goals.
Something broken
Lynch and Reiwoldt kicked 6, should have been 8 or 9. Our forward issue is with the rest of the forward line. Rioli went a whole half without a disposal. Castagna and Rioli, 3 goals between them in the last 5 games. Only 1 earning their pay is Aarts. He's the only 1 getting front and centre. One of Castagna or Rioli has to go. You can only use the playing a role defence excuse to a certain extent.

We used to be so clean below the knees, we are fumbling and falling over similiar to what we were like in 2016

Baker's kicking is a huge issue.

You are making way too much of this. He kicked it poorly tonight, but he's a beautiful kick of the footy usually. Maybe review his previous 50 games before touting him as a poor kick after 1 poor kicking game.

Even the pro AFL commentators expressed surprise at all the super quick play ins we got after marks. Whereas the Liars were given plenty of time to set up. I think the flogs were told this was too obvious because they stopped doing it once the Liars had a decent lead.
That’s just another example of the mindset we get from the umpires. At least twice our guys went back to take a kick after a mark, didn’t deviate or play on, no time wasting, just standard go back and take your kick ... and they called play on to the shock of our guys (Balta was one of them).

Think it was Nicholls both times. Not sure. It just typifies the outlook they have with us.

Just cannot persist with Marlon. Disposal is a momentum killer. u just cannot carry a player who turns it over every time. He makes Dan Jackson look like Jarmen.

Agree. Aarts is working really hard.

Yeah think 1 of them was on RCD and I think it was Nicholls as you said, seemed to take 2 tiny steps backwards and was called to play on.

Ross was woeful. He's been stooged by the constant sub thing, but tonight was his chance and he was poor.

Bakers kicking was average because of his incredible workrate. He was getting to every contest cos there was simply nobody else! When he's our 4th mid behind Cotch, Shedda and Shai he will carve up teams like he's in Kill Bill.

You are right though, 15 minutes into that game it was clear the umpires were never gonna give us a fair chance to win it

With a first picked midfield Jack and Tom would have destroyed them.
We lost so many crucial 50 50s in the centre during open play that we would normally gobble up. Our guys started streaming fwd expecting us to take possession but we we lost possession and we were exposed on the turn over.

Cant believe people are slagging off Baker. Bloke was clearly still recovering feom last weeks absolute blinder. He literally got us over the line last week. You cant expext him to play at that intensity as a midfielder week after week when he has never played there before. Hasnt got the tank yet to be an out and out midfielder. Still a gun

Cannot believe Fagan just compared their outs with ours and that it was even at team selection. This guy is clueless. Triple premiership midfield almost completely missing against who? Ill give them Neal and thats it

Yep one of the best disposers at the club. 2nd game as a permanent midfielder with inexperience around him. Reckon he was targetted after last week's blinder. Sure poor game overall but gives his all always. Love him as a player.
