I have heard that the Dreamtime clash with the Bombers might be in Perth.

Does anyone know anything more?

God I hope so. Will take 9 year old Tiger mad daughter to her first game!

Vic clubs told to pack there bags . Announced on Monday . Max 12 weeks on road
Compressed season
GF in Sydney
Most game in NSW and QLD

Surely they would wait till the end of the week - lockdown might be all over by the weekend if things stay as they are.

Understand why rounds 11 and 12 could be messed up but not sure why they need to panic now - ready to move yes but let’s see what happens first.

Compresed is ok as long as its a full compressed season not shortened one or that will just about roll us right up.

Why have you not yet taken your daughter to the G for a proper Tiger education?

Good chance it's being played there Streaker, perfect opportunity to take the daughter to a game n at least it'll be a neutral game without a shitload of feral Wet Coke nuffers going ape droppings.

The AFL seems to have inside info that the lockdown will be extended.

As long as the 16-minute quarters don't return.

I'm sure they would talk to VicGov regularly but it's just smart contingency planning IMO. Lets hope lockdown is a week this time and we can go back tio semi normality again.

Covid TM

Has made travel too hard.

As an example, 10 years ago this year took my son to his first game at the 'G, coincidentally it also being a Dreamtime game. Family did contemplate it this year, but luckily we didn't hey.

Recently had a birthday, and family have given me some travel vouchers to go to the G for a game with daughter, but probably not going to happen until next year.

Bloody cooties only been around a year n a bit Streaker, plenty of time beforehand to bring the daughter over for a proper education:)).

Travel vouchers for a birthday present???? Did you do something to *smile* the family off? They're either suggesting it's time you went very far away, or they're laughing at you 'coz it's near on impossible to use them due to cooties.

But if he's picked up the virus on literally his last day at the quarantine hotel, that possibility still exists whether it's day 14 or day 21. I've suggested elsewhere that maybe they should do 7 days' home quarantine on top of the 14 at the hotel.

not the worst idea tbh

Our State Governments *smile* themselves when we get 3.5 daily infections. There'd be a dribbling mess of leg wetting Pollies all over Oz if we had 3500 cases on a daily basis.
Vaccinated fully, partially or not, the rest of the western world seem to have reasonably come to terms with the fact that nothing is stopping the old Coroner cooties in a big hurry, so they'll just try and get on with life as best as they can.
Yet, the UK has had 127k people die from Covid.
There's a reason our polling "wet themselves". They don't want to be responsible for that figure.
Fyi the UK has had 8 people die on average the past 7 days.
They have 923 hospitalised and 123 in intensive care average over the 7 days.

And they are still running some forms of lockdown and social distancing. This is why they are vaccinating as fast as possible.
