That game had every emotion. Certain times I felt like it was the end of the era. But then a ten minute burst that no other team can match. And there’s green shoots for the future. But I worry about the older bodies holding up.

Dion again, Grimes was hurting, Cotch I just get nervous about, Caddy looks slow, Houli looks a second off.

We are grinding. Its pride and muscle memory.

It's all becoming a bit deja vu. The 3 years we have won the Premiership we have been thereabouts at bye time and had injuries to key players. Then we roll through. Last week 50 point turnaround after leaking batches of goals twice against Adelaide, and tonight there was only one. The arm wrestle is a function of the way we play, we just gotta stop the leaks!

I really find it difficult to see many positives out of that game except 4 points. We struggled to dispatch a very poor team and our ball movement and decision making was often terrible. Of course I am very happy with a win but cannot help but feel that we are papering over some big cracks at the moment. Our defence is sloppy, defensive running mostly woeful and we decide to play a tall short but have a few underperforming mid sized and small players who still get a game every week. Not convinced
The Bombers are a good side. They played very well.

Fox footy sucks
They would have had to clean up Lewis and Johnson’s spunk off the cameras 10 minutes into the last quarter. I don’t think they love Essendon that much; they just so badly wanted us to lose.

Any word on Dion? Fox Footy cut Dimma off.so that we could listen to their dribble.
Wasn’t covered.

Flying back to Sydney. AFL not expecting to get games going in Melbourne the following week after WCE ? Sydney our home for a while ?

He basically said wait and see, so probably doesn't know... he did say Nank is improving very fast and Lambo should be available for the Weagles game

Way out of my wheelhouse but I'm assuming the raw feed is the same so it must be something seven do that loses quality in the broadcast.
It’s such a noticeable difference. A major reason I watch little FTA TV.

Have to say:
We were 1big man down and it showed.
Houli is done.
Need a tough mid size forward.

Chol was good
Bolton and Martin make a good pair

Kicking, especially to the forward line was bad

That'll be our bye... reckon the boys will be keen to get home by that stage... hopefully games should start again soon in Melbs but who knows

Yeah one of my best mates is a Bummer and said the same thing. I advised him to look at the free kick differential from the last 5 seasons. Crickets…………………..
My bro in law said no point tackling so I said we had more tackles but they had more throws

We're an old side. Many are on the slippery down slope from their best footy at their peak. That's why I firmly believe this year is our last chance at a premiership.

I would define a 39 point win as a fair dispatching personally ;)

Ferrett would good with a yellow slash.
Would we make a play for him.
If he is getting 30+ every week playing for that shitt grew, he might hit 60 if he came to us.
