Miss finals. Set the list & then get properly fit in pre-season. New assistant coaches. Full list back & then hit 2022 full on. No excuses. No more bs

Using Pickett in the ruck reeks of either stupidity or arrogance.
Take you pick.
Drinking his own bath water is Damien.

Oh Geezuz. Dimma’s been using it since day one. The day he stops we’re in trouble I reckon.
He'
Heard Ash Barty and her coach using the term “challenge” over and over.
And coincidentally her high performance/mind coach is none other than Ben Crowe who happens to mentor both Cotchin and Hardwick
sometimes the play only has 4 acts.
I'm sensing this is a very slow curtain.
A new narrator might be needed to reload.

Never mentioned today’s game
Every other team challenging for :cupgold has 2 rucks Why not us
Took Dimma till half way through season to give CJ a go should’ve been playing 2 rucks all year
Im better then Cj in the ruck.
Coleman Jones is a forward

He probably wishes he took a pay cut so we could fit in some better assistants to make him look better.

We all know the score.

1) Needs a tactical assistant.

2) Kingsley to the midfield.

3) I like X but I don’t want him coaching the forwards. Not convinced.

In short, complete re-shuffle.

It was a very difficult position to be in this year. We needed to bring in experience having lost Leppa and Fly as well as Caracella the year before but we had a savage cut to the soft cap. Clearly we didn’t want to sack any more than we had to but we do look an experienced assistant short.

I do think that there is some garbage being posted about Dimma tonight by some disappointed fans. There is a great truism in business that says that a manager is only as good as the people around him/her. These days the same can be said of a head coach and there is no doubt that Dimma was surrounded by great assistants in his premiership years. However he was the head coach, the one in charge. Some of the stuff being said about him being an ordinary coach with the assistants orchestrating the premierships is just ridiculous. How would any punter on this site know that to begin with?

One thing I do know is that you don’t become a 3 time premiership coach by being ordinary at your job.

I don't buy the lack of quality assistants. Dimma can coach.

Unfortunately our good players have fallen away, shitload of injuries, new rules and umpiring against us and our kids may not be that great. No surprise in hindsight.

Not sure where to put this.

But are we the worst kick in team in the Comp?

With the rule changes designed to break open the game after a point, are we the only team that has not developed a strategy to take advantage of this?

We either kick it to the pocket (including to dtld) or to a contested tall pack (which the other team normally anticipates and we are out numbered).

Other teams seem to run it out 40 meters before a long kick.

Does this drive anyone else crazy?

I genuinely don't think our kicking is as bad as it seems - but I do think our game plan is in worse shape than it has been for some time. Our players seem to be stuck in some mindset of not playing chaos ball, but not playing another definitive game style either.
Admit it's hard to make this comment reliably just watching on TV, but we don't seem to be running to the right places for the next kick, nor are we running to support like we used to with handball.
We were well drilled to do one thing. Routine and expectation can make a below average kick look average, and an average kick look good. Currently I think we are making below average kicks look like horrid Park footballers. Our movement doesn't seem natural to these guys anymore.

Well done Dimma. If everything goes well in the next 3 years, he'll surpass Tommy Hafey.

Best thing is that it's also the karma to the Bummers for having our player Sheedy becoming the longest and most successful coach there.

Who would've thought that in 1981.
Need another flag from dimma

100% guaranteed that Caracella had a lot to do with the finals series in 2019, in particular the Preliminary Final when we were dead against the Cats at half time . Was Blake’s genius and not Dimma . Fact !! ( move those magnets )
Think about why so many assistants have left is a topic that should be discussed intently . Like any employment , if you don’t like it leave , the 2 recent assistants and the rehab coach makes a healthy discussion. Cheers
