So he's guilty of tackling too hard? *smile* me.
Amazing isn’t it? What other option did he have? Sleepy Joe was trying to get out of a tackle and Nank pounced. What is he meant to do, grab his jumper and put up his hand?
how many players get fined for tackling too hard?
In comparison a guy like Dumford is a weak sniping dog who always does the underhand thing yet always escapes proper scrutiny. Imagine if Nank did the stuff Dumford does?

If the AFL have their way the players will all wear sashes, and if you can remove the other players sash it will be judged as a legal tackle and rewarded with a free.

Why doesn't this guy ever get mentioned as the best ruck in the comp?
Media prefer optical numbers that Grundy & Nic Nat produce.
Like 40 hitouts yet your side still losses the prelim.
Or you can jump tall buildings with a single leap yet can't take a contersted mark to save yourself.

Next you’ll be referring to yourself in the third person like Leysy.
Brodders is getting angry.
Actually I owe Leysy thanks. When I first came on here I was intending to do that. Then i read some of his posts and realised it wasnt a good idea if i wanted to look witty and insightful.

Amazing Tandem at the moment.

You've got the gazelle in Simon Phoenix who will go to great lengths to avoid physical contact.
Graceful, Laconic, Rhythmic, Lovely kick, Polished. 4 Phones.

Then you've got the polar opposite.

The Enforcer.
Will run 100 miles an hour towards physical contact and will do so with a mad stare! (Cheerio Bristle!)
Brutal, Unforgiving, Intimidatory, Contact, Hurt, Destroy, Demoralise.
The Nank-in-a-tor.
Nankenstein! :clap2

What a wonderfully weird (yet effective) Tandem.

Speaking on SEN’s Bob and Andy, Brereton compared Nankervis’ “nasty” nature to GWS enforcer Shane Mumford.

“It is close to my heart, and I reckon it’s fantastic, good on them. It’s hard to do now,” the five-time premiership Hawk said.

“The Tigers had eight snide acts. I probably shouldn’t call them snide … shifty, nasty, careless - Toby had three of them.

“There was one in the first quarter where big Oscar (McInerney) sensed the ball was dropping a bit short so Toby went for the spoil, recognised he couldn’t get to the spoil, so he just flushed him in the back of the head with a spoiling arm.

“It was a good old solid ear massage. I thought, ‘That’s been lacking at the Tigers’, while Toby Nankervis has been out.

“He’s the new Shane Mumford. He’s accidentally, purposely clumsy. He’s a touch nasty and he’s aware of his size.

“He does play to that old ethos of, ‘Let them know I’m around’.”

The difference is that Mumford only targets small players. Nank doesn't GAF how big you are.

Others are finding out what plenty of us already knew about Nank,I use to follow what he was doing on a footy app and it use to think he'll this young ruck gets plenty of ball for a guy who plays 30-50 percent of game time .
Ps 2016 when he was a swan.
