Forgot how exciting this time of year can be. Will be listening to trade radio more intently than last few years.

My expectation:

Retire:
Houli
Astbury

Delist:
Egg
Garthwaite
Naish

Trade/FA
Caddy
Chol

Will we go harder than this with our draft hand?

Add Pickett to the Trade list and I think this is spot on.

And Parker.

Aarts possible trade.

Miller and Biggy wouldn't be 100% to stay on either would they?

Listening to Richo on the Tiges Podcast, i got the impression someone is coming our way for one of our First Rounders.

I'm hearing you Lurk, but I just don't get it.
We gave up last year's to Geel.
So no 1st Round pick last year.
So now we've got two 1st Rounders and we give one of them up to help our enemies?
Unless it's for Toby Greene, Tom Green, Gawn, Oliver or Bont. hard no from me.
If we give it away it better be a big name (who CAN play!)
It better be a MASSIVE name.
I await to be amazed.

Given Astbury has retired and Garth is simply not up to it then both Miller and Biggy are definitely staying. We are short of Key Defensive stocks already and hence can't afford to lose anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Tiges have a shot at Darcy moore ,,Eddiewoods salary cap is still under pressure ,and they need more points to get Daicos .
Our Geelong pick should do the trick.

Would have to give up a lot. He's a RFA next year so if he was to leave then, they would almost certainly get a Top 5 pick, potentially top 2.

Parker will be interesting. Showed some good things and some things which indicated why he didn't make it at St Kilda. I still wouldn't mind seeing him with a pre-season under his belt.

Not sure we'd get much for Aarts in a trade would we?

Can Balta and Darcy work in the same backline?

They need to do something this year, their cap is under pressure, and they need points for daicos .
Im sure if he wanted to come to the Tiges ,it would get done.

If the Pies agreed to that, they should shut the joint down.

They can get the points for Daicos by bringing their 2nd from 2022 into 2021.

I can't see us bringing in Moore this year, would cost too much in terms of draft picks.

I'd be looking to go him after him as a RFA next year. Pies may be willing to let him leave if they finish bottom 2 again (which seems likely right now) as they get a top 2-3 draft pick for him and his age probably doesn't suit their list profile.

In all seriousness l think his salary would cancel us out for this year .

If we where looking for defenders for 1-4 years apart from Talia ,there's also Tom Clurey and Jarrod Lienert both from Port ..They can't get a game ,and they should come cheap.

I don't think we can afford to lose these two right now as we have no other potential key backs. We have no idea what we can get in the draft / trade period so better to have these two on low coin for at least on more season

Are clubs allowed to do this???
Would have thought that any points deficit from this years draft would have to come off the value of their first pick in next years draft.
