Not saying the Dogs didn't get a lot of favourable decisions too. They get away with so many throws and ducks every game. I was responding to a comment that the ruck free gave the Dogs the game and was highlighting the 2 previous scores by the Lions.

I'm shocked you think the Daniel one was fine, if that was paid against one of our defenders, you'd be going spare.
No no no. Daniel had options but was kicking off the ground from in his D50. Even if it went out 15-20m further down field it would have been deliberate. There were no dogs players anywhere nearby. It didn't gop straight off the edge, more off on a 45 degree. Good decision.

Yeh, the dogs throw it all the time. Have since 2016. Treloar doesn't know how to handpass, biggest chucker in the AFL.

You realise as he was lining the kick up, Cameron charged him from behind knocking him off balance. He wasn't lining that kick up to have it skew off the boot at a 45 degree angle. He kicked it out of the air and was trying to kick the leather out of it and get it as far out of their 50 as his little legs would get it (so not that far haha).

No they don't. If there is a free, you pay the free. Its pretty simply. Seriously, what other sport in the world would have their sport run on "game sense of the umpires".
Every sport people care about? Seriously though its an interesting argument, but a moot one when we are talking about humans. Could have robots umpiring at some point in the future I guess, but even then there would be a let it flow / tiggy touchwood setting dial that a human would adjust according to the stakes.

Still think his intention when deciding to kick off ground was get it out. But its all opinion. Didn't think the ruck free was really there at the end but you did and it was paid. Makes for a bit of discussion. I can't stand the Lions either so not unhappy to see them out.

There were plenty of other calls that went for the Dogs IMO that were worth more for Brisbane to be annoyed about.

But it made Fages unhappy so all good :D

No one notice the commentary tonight?
Brisbane 'Handball' out.
The Dogs 'toss' the ball out.
Treloar once
McCrae 2
Libba nearly every time he got it it threw it out
And Dunkley.
I noticed also McCrea, Libba and Smith have no penetration in there kicking, There kicks down the line would struggle to make the 50 arc.

The Smurf set up at least two dogs goals with great kicks
But how many was he involved in that cost Footscary goals.
2 just in the last qtr.
McCarthy out marked him in the lead up to the Bailey goal and he was in the centre when Brisbane rushed it forward for the Furthon goaled.
He is lucky his rushed kick in the last minute fell into Bailey Williams arms.

I don't care who won, but what umpire on what planet pays a dodgy technical ruck free with a minute to go with scores level in a final? Dunno if it was there or not, no replay, funny that, but fair dinkum. Pretty much handed the dogs a rushed point, and the win.
It was a bad move by McInerney. He was dominating but went way beyond the drop. A classic case of being too worried about the other ruck and not the ball.
Fair free kick for mine (as an ex ruck)

Gonna cop a big fine for that junkie gesture. Can't see why he did it as it was 1 week late.
It was an "ice in his veins" celebration (hence the pointing at his forearm). Indicates that he is cool under pressure. Quite a common celebration in the NBA.

Treloar was ordinary. Dogs going back to their regular midfield and had treloar waiting in the forward flank

Great result. The Bears have had 5 home finals for 4 losses and 2 straight sets exits in the past 3 years. Couldn't happen to a more unlikeable group of shiteaters.
