For the music lovers! ..... and sort of appropriate due to Charlie Watts' passing. Loved it!

I started watching this the night before Charlie died, I found it a bit drab.

I find docos where the interviewees talk about a subject and it’s all “they were the greatest” then they talk about the next subject and it’s all “they were the greatest” underwhelming.

Watching Narco Wars: The Mob on National Geographic. Pretty good. Episode 4 is really interesting about Sammy “The Bull” Gravano’s life after he ratted out John Gotti.

Looks like Letters and Numbers is making a comeback in a different way in October. Obviously, some copy of the UK show 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown but without the swearing and innuendo.

New host (no Morecroft) and Lily's a Mum now. Will be interesting to watch again.

WWDitS is awesome.

I always think of the Superb Owl story line and the Jackie Daytona character

8 out of 10 cats does Countdown is a copy of the tv show Countdown, but with lots of swearing and innuendo!;)

Oh, loved The White Lotus! It's only a six parter, so not a huge commitment. Essentially about a high end hotel in Hawaii, assortment of neurotic guests and overworked and much put-upon staff.

The Australian on/off the wagon hotel manager (Murray Bartlett) was great in his battles with the demanding honeymooning husband, but the whole cast is good. The woke yet spoiled teenage daughter and her BFF who tagged along in the trip are exasperating yet hilarious. Also Jennifer Coolidge (Stiffler's mom) is great as an alcoholic, older, extremely neurotic woman looking for ... something. Did I mention nearly all the guests are neurotic?

It's a dark comedy with some sad bits thrown in. Makes good points about wealth, privilege and those who are paid to provide services to those with wealth and privilege.
Just finished watching. Loved it too.

*Spoiler Alert*

The only bit that annoyed was the husband & wife scene at the airport at the end.

Watching the 9/11 One Day in America series on National Geographic. Just watched the first episode.

Brutal. Just absolutely brutal. Just so gut wrenching.

20th Anniversary this week.

I've figured out what's wrong with Ted Lasso season 2: it's wriiten and directed by 25-year-old virgins who've never played football, met people, or been outside.
