Lanyards good.

That bumper sticker better have a few of the small square RFC stickers. Great for trolling non-RFC supporting friends when you plant one on the their car.

and Cap please. With year.

Hate digital ticketing, mind you, as a Roaming Tiger member it affects me less as I need to do battle with the ticketing company to get a decent seat each game. I just print out the ticket anyway.

Wonder whose pictures are on the AFL card?
Would prefer that there is a separate membership card for AFLW

I'm not upgrading anything until I know I can actually go to a game. I don't mind donating money and financially supporting the club, but I'm paying for games and not even getting the chance to attend.

Not everyone will agree to this, but I really do think the club should offer members a complimentary 12th game next year as a thank you to members for sticking fat. No one was able to attend all 11 home games in 2021. Zero in 2020. It just feels like the right thing to do.

Not sure what the incentive should be, although this one would be good, all the clubs in Melbourne could agree to this and everyone gets to go to an away game for free and all clubs get a way to keep their members. My membership covers away games in Melbourne so wouldn't affect me, maybe a decent reserved seat for no cost at an away game would be nice.

I really wonder whether they will do general admission in 2022. The AFL certainly seems to want to make it reserved for every seat forever more. I hope they don't succeed, general admission is a bedrock of the game and should be kept.

Good that lanyards are back. Shame cards won't have a barcode though which kind of defeats the purpose. I hate the digital ticketing system.
For us who cannot get to a game the membership card is just a good way to be acknowledged as a member. I have all mine since the day I joined the club and was hacked off when the club announced that us non gameday members wouldn't be getting membership cards so more than happy the card is now for all members

If digital ticketing is here to stay, I’m happy to forgo the lurks and perks for my membership as long as the club use the money saved to lobby hard for the AFL and ticketek/ Ticketmaster to get it right and not make it so *smile* hard to get a decent seat

It's not rocket science either, just allow us to choose the seat ourselves. Different people have different preferences. But you have to keep trying until your preference becomes available.

First in, best choice would be easy. None of this opening up a few rows at a time crap. it sh1ts me.
