It is completely unacceptable if B Scott is MRO , as his twin brother has a vested interest in Geelong and its players.
This is the setting for corruption . It does not pass the pub test. It is a very poor look.
Couple SHocking taking us through an unprecedented era of change then moving straight into the Geelong top job. It's way more than a poor look.

He's gonna need his own thread.

Just been handed the job in charge of ........... umpires and Match Review.

not sure what his CV would say about his game evolution officer key achievements?

This thread may knock Tambling and Coronavirus off the podium

No issue really. I'm sure the twins don't talk footy with each other.

"Ray.... Brad here, I've been reviewing your last game Cats v Richmond . ..... I think you're being over officious when it comes to Joel, Paddy and Tommy Hawkins.

These blokes are ornaments to the game and you need to let them show their wares, not penalise any tiny misdemeanors."

"Also, we need to sharpen our focus on Tom Lynch and his shoving tactics, Martin always going high with the fend and Grimes constantly hanging on down back..... if you can clean up your decision making in this area, I can see you getting back for the big one again"

You'd think they'd put someone with umpiring, or some form of adjudication, experience in charge of umpiring of a $Billion game?

or someone with legal experience in charge of sanctioning indiscretions and interpretation of rules?

Nah, Scotty's a good bloke, remember when he shat through a funnel on that footy trip?
He has had a whole 18 months been the VFL boss, that ought to do it hey Gil

After Scott kicked the sh!t out of that security guard in Tasmania when he was coaching lol@norf, it's a wonder they didn't put him in charge of security.

he beat up Nick Reiwoldt with 2 other blokes, with Nick nursing a broken collar bone too dont forget.

Brave, The Scott Brothers. Uncompromising. Did you know Geelong have been in 998 of the last 1000 preliminary finals?

For those who may have read The Boy's Club by Mick Warner, this is no surprise. Deals and conflicted interests everywhere, ppl get jobs without formal processes - the brother of Travis Auld gets a job for the boys, Craig Kelly's TLA management arm doesn't even tender for some of the benefits they receive over other player agents. The AFL is seriously, seriously a corrupt, hidden organisation.
I always wondered how, of all the ppl who could have got the job running AFLW, why it was Nicole Livingstone. She was a foundation client of Craig Kelly. Of course.
I actually hate how clubs and the media are now too scared to say anything for fear of retribution.

Amateur league.

He’s just another average bloke with an under-evolved monkey brain bashing away on Excel in between angry phone calls.

Now the AFL is trusting him to funnel out all the shat from the umpiring department.

I guess he must have additional experience we don’t know about.

Am I the only one who thought he was a decent coach. Took an average Kangas side to preliminary finals and made tough list management changes to ageing stars.
