Reckon the Petravski Seton deal for pick in 50s will be a huge win for Eagles. On a hard deck and played in midfield roving to Nic Nat he could fulfil his potential. Definitely worth the price

Cos they were dealing with Freo.
and they are still angling for Pick 19, the cats.

Stengle + whatever they get for Clark + Ceglar who will be 31 before the ball is bounced next year = Wells labelled the BEST operator.

North asking St Kilda for a future 2nd rounder for Xerri, interesting to see how these negotiations go considering North effectively got a 3rd rounder this year and future 4th rounder back for CJ

Haven't seen Xerri play but surely drafting CJ 52 picks earlier should add slightly to his value? and why bring CJ in when you have Xerri?

Because they think he is better of course.

We shouldn't go for Mitchell or any of the Dorks' cast-offs. Failed strategy which they have now realised and thus are desperately trying to get into this draft and grab more quality kids to assist a rebuild with Day and GB. Might have liked Jeager some years back but injuries have curtailed his brilliance I think.

As already posted by someone - if the likes of Mitchell have not made Hathorn better (a contender), what makes you think he would do for us?
Why did Prestia make GC better?
How many games did they win?
Thats stupid..he has won 3 B&Fs and gets the ball 1000 times when he plays.
He might not be good to watch but he is good at getting the ball.
Thats exactly the player we need

I’m coming around to this…it does my *smile* head in every game knowing we were not getting the ball out of the centre 90% of the time after every bounce. Nearly kicked in my TV knowing it was going to happen after every goal.
We really..REALLY need someone like him or similar to actually help my blood pressure and win some centre clearances for a change.
Who the hell doesn’t want to see a quick kick out of the guts to Jack or Tom ffs.
I just don’t get why anyone wouldn’t want that next year “provided” it’s not our first two picks.

This is unbelievable.
2 players of quality in Omeara and Mitchell that will give us an real opportunity to win another flag.
Tonight of that trade show.
They showed Omeara numbers they were as good as Jack Steele and he was AA.
They give us an option.
We *smile* picks down the drain anyway so why not go after them.
Because there arent many clubs going for them. We can control the deal.
We could give pick 15 away and with that hawthorn pay a majority of his wage for 1 year.
I was huge on getting Mitchell but in the last 2 days ive changed to Omeara.
28 yrs old and all his injuries of 3-4 yrs ago seem to have disappeared.
Omeara for 15 is perfect.
Use 7 on a kid
26 & 28 on 2 more kids
That's enough. Then hit the Rookie draft

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually agree with Zips.

I may need to check if I need a lobotomy

We have no money in the cap. We're basically taking kids or our 2 year players back. It's bare minimum.

We'd have to move Caddy I reckon, and his name hasn't come up once this year period.

The next 24 hrs we control if we will challenge next year.
Hardwick's options
Omeara or Mitchell 5-1 fav for the flag
Or
Ross or Collier Dawkins 101/1

General they can pay 105% bulkshiit off the cap.
Carlton and Gc have done it.
If we give up pick 15, 100% that would involve Hawthorn paying him the majority of his pay.
And they can offer 3 yrs.
Omeara only has 2 left.
Spread it over 3 yrs with Sam Mitchell paying the majority of it.
Seriously they need to start showing the players wagers.
We have lost 3 premiership players and got rid of many more and we have a full cap.
Jack, Edwards and lynch shouldve taken less to help in this drive of 4 in 6.

Clarke hasn't got a clue who we should pick in the draft.
Hartley can't make any moves because of cap space.
Your not winning a championship with the same line up period.
If they just got the 2017 draft right
We would have 2 23 yrs ready to go.
I dont see PORT Adelaide kids asking to play for the team they barracked for.
Or Melbourne kids asking to be traded.
You can't rely on these 2.
