A few I listen to:

The Joe Rogan Experience (don't always agree with his views, but he has a wide variety of guests on his show from all walks of life)
You Cannot Be Serious with Sam Newman & Don Scott.
Sacked (stories from sacked VFL/AFL coaches)

I've been listening to The Dropout. Crazy story. I'm still not convinced she's going to gaol yet.

I've just started this one and its been great so far. I'd gathered bits and pieces of her story over the years but this is a real in-depth look at her shenanigans.

She's a real piece of work and her eyes are lifeless and creepy! Also that stupid voice she puts on is awful.

@jb03 , I tried the Crimes in sports podcast about John Daly, had to turn it off. It was just the 2 hosts reading out his wiki page and just trying to make funny comments. It was awful.

Does this sound like the same one you liked?

I know humour is not your strong point but it is best that you listen to those sort of podcasts from episode 1 as you pick up the inside jokes as the show evolves. I like the podcast and it is more than a Wikipedia page read, especially for the obscure American sportspeople. You'll learn more about Ben Cousins' crimes from his episode than you would from the Aust media. Skip the first 5 minutes and the last minutes.

For a laugh I recommend Tuesdays With Stories by US comedians Joe List and Mark Normand. Just a couple of comics talking *smile* and trading stories. Definitely adults only material.

Elizabeth Holmes has been found guilty for those playing along.

Guilty on 4 of 11 charges - not sure which ones. She'll doubtless appeal, but maybe justice might actually be served in this case.

Yeah, I'm not convinced that she'll do time just yet until all of her avenues of appeal have been exhausted.

Top level white collar criminals mostly tend to weasel their way out of jail time unfortunately.

I'm loving this Scotty. Thanks for the tip. So much fun.

Tried that, but found the hosts a little too obnoxious - probably just me though. In a similar vein you could try Be Reel - the hosts pick a theme or a director or an actor and review a bunch of films that fit the theme eg:

Found guilty on the defrauding investor charges but not the ones rating to the public for incorrect test results.

The Dropout and @scottytunersnurse recommendation of Bad Blood are good listens to get all the info. Amazing to me that it all lasted for so long.

I searched for the top podcast in the app I use to give it a try while I was doing some boring computer work. It turned out it was from the makers of serial which was great. I ended up binging the whole thing.

Investigate journalism on the Islamic plot to take over uk schools from 7 years ago. Doesn’t turn out how you would think from that intro. Highly recommend and will be interesting to see what the fallout is.

I've started listening to the Saturday Afternoon Fever podcast by Matt Hardy and Lawrence Moody. Quite enjoying it and a great trip down memory lane. Being around the same age, many of the things he talks about ring very true.

Note: I haven't read the book so I don't know what difference that would make.

Thought I’d bump this one cos I’ve been listening to it . Very funny and nostalgic podcast. A must listen for any old school footy fan!

Just listened to Chameleon: Wild Boys which is pretty good (about two teenage boys that emerged from living in the wild in Canada circa 2003)
