Either Perrotet is rat cunning and is echoing Trump's "slow the testing down please!" or he's not very bright. I suspect the former.

You don't. The NSW Gov has wiped their hands of looking after their citizens (& basically the rest of the country). It's a disgrace.
The outright idiocy of that is just astounding. It’s like saying “Hey…if you don’t report that you were 8kph over the speed limit on a backwater country road, we will fine you.”

How the *** do they know someone is taking, or has taken a RAT, and that they should have reported a positive result ?

1k fines for people in NSW who don’t submit their RAT is comical policy from Domicron. ‘Personal responsibility’ will see many not bother to test at all. Absolute joke.
1K fine for the Govt paid to every punter that can't get a RAT or a PCR test would be a more fitting outcome.

Qld - 22k new cases recorded - probably 2 -3 times that amount actual
525 in hospital - 30 in ICU - 8 on ventilators

What a monumental stuff up. No foresight, no planning, no preparation. It is quite clear that Dr Jeanette Young was the one person in Queensland that had any clue.

Anastasia, the health minister, and the bloke that replaced Dr Young, are way out of their league. They are Poland 1936. Completely and utterly stuffed.

What's even more concerning from the article is -

"But some experts have questioned the justification for mandates of a vaccine that evidence shows is no longer stopping transmission".

"Writing in The Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Nobel prize-winning virologist Luc Montagnier and constitutional scholar Jed Rubenfeld argued the rise of Omicron had made the Biden administration’s vaccine mandates “obsolete”.

“It would be irrational, legally indefensible and contrary to the public interest for government to mandate vaccines absent any evidence that the vaccines are effective in stopping the spread of the pathogen they target,” they wrote."

"For Omicron, they noted, “there is as yet no such evidence” and moreover, “the little data we have suggests the opposite”.

One preprint study found that after 30 days the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines no longer had any statistically significant positive effect against Omicron infection, and after 90 days, their effect went negative – i.e. vaccinated people were more susceptible to Omicron infection,” they wrote.

“Confirming this negative efficacy finding, data from Denmark and the Canadian province of Ontario indicate that vaccinated people have higher rates of Omicron infection than unvaccinated people.”

And Luc Montagnier is sane man ?? Dude expouses a theory that DNA from bacteria and virues can emit specific radio waves. Believes in homeopathy and that Covid-19 is a man-made virus. Most of the scientific community think he is a raving loon.
And who owns the WSJ? Why that well known leftist, Bolshie radical, Murdoch. No not Murdoch from the A-Team, the other one, his Uncle Rupert.

The man is almost 90 years old, if I uttered any of his wacky theories at that age I'd be on risperidone.

Rubbish, if you were vaccinated why can'y I track you via my 5G??

everyone vaccinated already died as soon as the 5G was switched on. If you feel like you are still alive, you are a merely a simulation of yourself existing within the Matrix

We were offered the red or blue vaccine. I took the blue, better to live in fantasy land

German IT boffins have detected problems with the Unix timestamps of the PCR tests Joke-ovic submitted. Timestamps show the positive test happened on the 26th December (not the 16th), the negative test on the 22nd. There are also other discrepancies with the positive test.

This likely means the negative test was real, the positive test never happened and they made it up post facto, but didn't bother to get the unix timestamp even roughly right.

The sceptic makes you think it’s so crazy as to think this is deliberate policy to ease demand for a test kit you can’t source due to Gov ineptitude.

Meanwhile other countries provide free RATs to their citizens.

Honestly at a guess how do people think things are going to look in a couple of weeks when children return to the classroom?

I actually fear for the stability of society. The cracks are massive right now.

What he actually said was 2 doses offered limited protection but with a booster it was reasonable protection and very good protection against serious illness. He also said that they will have a new vaccine targeted against Omicron by March

Too much detail, much better to just make a gross generalisation with no evidence, no research and no thought - remember, have to deliver the pithy line no matter how much it is a distortion of the true state of affairs.

Its OK, the Australian people will understand what happens when you elect a bunch of incompetant, corrupt, clowns to run the country.

we will learn the lessons and demand competant, transparent, visionary leaders, and everything will be ok

gryan Miers might kick on his left too.

What's always interesting in this sort of claim is to look not so much at what they are saying, but what they are not saying.

So, they are claiming that the Pfizer vaccine loses effectiveness in terms of stopping the spread of the vaccine after 30 days. You mean, the Pfizer vaccine, designed for the original version of the virus as opposed to the version named after the 15th letter of the Greek alphabet, loses some effectiveness in terms of slowing transmission of COVID over time, also note the caveat above about "the little data" they are basing their claim on. Yep, that's an exclusive if ever I saw one

Then there is the gaping hole in the argument which concerns what they are not saying. The vaccines, Pfizer included, drastically reduce the severity of illness if you do catch COVID. This is the salient point, the vaccines reduce hospitalisation and death, there is a lot more than "the little data" cited above which shows this. But the RWNJs who wrote this crap decided it wasn't a good idea to mention that aspect. Such a pity some get sucked in by such rubbish.

Listened to Pfizer CEO’s interview with Lex Friedman on the weekend, came across as ‘slightly’ arrogant. To sum up, the vaccine is the safest drug of all time, the new antiviral is a Miracle, nothing else works, the company is an A+ social citizen and any criticism is lunacy.
