Oh and keep an eye out for Nate Caddy for the Northern Knights, will be in next years draft. Nephew of Josh.

Super athletic 192cm and growing mid forward. Pace for his size is unreal. Unicorn potential.
Are you saying his uncles pace has not been passed on?

Does that make him the son of the Saul?
”t was later revealed that Caddy's older brother Saul had run into former teammate and current Richmond CEO Brendon Galein a chance encounter a month earlier and let slip of his younger brother's unrest at Geelong.”

suns academy playing 8 over-agers (born 03).

I thought NAB league had a 4 over limit?

north academy concession?

why not just call it u19's like the old days?
they do. it is now U19s.

Is your boy playing?

Remember we have North's 2nd rounder this year as part of the CCJ trade.

Here's hoping we end up with pick #18 & #19

AFL always has concessions for some and not for others, the comp is contrived.

Another draft debut tomorrow - this time Kai Lohmann. Will be keen to see how he goes. We had considerable interest in Kai pre draft.

Dunno about others but I find watching debuts and progress of all these kids really interesting no matter what their club is.

You watch and discuss these kids for ages before they get drafted and it’s fun to see how they go when they start getting their opportunities.

We tried hard to trade down to get Lohmann. Would have cost us Sonsie and Clarke though

A kid to keep an eye on is Darcy Wilson of the Murray Bushrangers , he’s the great nephew of Mick Nolan , super talented , dedicated and great kid , plays cricket for Victoria, has won Australian running titles , I’m not sure if this is his draft year but he is a VC for the Bushrangers this year.

We need mids. If we have three picks inside 30, I want pure mids.

Must win their own footy.
Must run both ways.
Must be above average kicks.

They are there every year. Look at Nathan O’Driscoll at Freo. Super impressive and taken after 20.

He looks top 10 ,he will probably end up top 5 although it's still early day's .
There are quite a few decent mids this year ,l like Jhye Clark from the Falcons ,he has a bit of quality about him,he gets the contested ball and outside, and uses t really well by hand and foot.
I really like Oliver Northam 195cm 90kg from the falcons ,they have him playing ruck, with stints down forward,he has a great leap, and a strong mark, and he's a decent kick ,he will be a kp at AFL level and has a bit of a hard streak through him as well.

I know we need mids, but if there's a good kp available at our pick l would take him,,l still think we will make the 8,and have our first pick between 12-18

Interesting. I watched him closely today and gone off him bigtime.

Knows exactly where the ump is, Goes into a pack and throws his head back. Half his goals from frees.

Clever? Yes. Skilled? Yes.

Gryan miers like? Yes

Do i want him at richmond? No
Where not using pick 6 on a smurf
