Slow Horses. Brit MI5 spy series. 6 Episodes and Gary Oldman delivers a brilliant performance. Well worth watching.

Yeah, it's not bad! Plot conclusions for S01 are a bit far fetched but as a sub-Le Carre kind of spy drama with some humour thrown in it's worth a watch. I'd watch Oldman and KST in anything to be fair.

Just finished The Outlaws. Very funny. Great acting. If you like Stephen Merchants comedy you’ll love this series.

A few shows I’ve caught up with lately:

The Offer, I’m a Godfather fan so I like it but it’s a bit rushed, “this happened, then that happened”, a bit of a tick box of events.

Yellowjackets: I tried, watched 4 eps, but it just didn’t grab me.

Pentavurate: Mike Myers plays nearly the whole bloody cast, easy to watch, a few laughs but his comedy style seems dated now.

The Staircase with Colin Firth and Toni Collette. Excellent.

Showtime, quite good, well acted, looked good but eventually fell flat. A mini series about the Lakers in the late 70s , early 80s. I think a mini series about the Tigers in 2017 would be better.

Girl from plainville, a story well told by now about the girl who egged on her boyfriend to commit suicide. Quite good, a bit slow.

The Outlaws, very good stuff from Steve Merchant. A comedy/drama about a group of people doing community service who find a bag of cash.

Borgen s4 coming in a couple of weeks.

Loved the first two, three wasn’t as good but glad it’s coming back. Sure, West Wing-lite but what isn’t against that masterpiece?

The doco on The Staircase was so good and detailed with the real life footage that it seems odd that they dramatised it.

I'm currently recording this on Showcase Foxtel and only have the first 4 episodes so far, but was 9 episodes too long?
I’ve only watched 2 eps but in general these modern day mini series do go too long.

It’s the modern way jb, the podcast, the doco the mini series.

Wework, Girl from plainville, Tiger King, Elizabeth Holmes among others.

Latest one is “Super Pumped“ about Uber.

Just started watching the entire NYPD Blue series' again, starting with episode 1, Series 1 from 1993.

HD, Dolby enhanced. Sensational.

Ole Sipowicz. Dunno if he'd last too long in today's woke world.

I just started watching it again two weeks ago. Sipowicz never get's old haha. I always wondered why David Caruso (Kelly) left so abruptly. Did he get pinched for CSI at that time?
