How good is it having Dusty back?
Dunno, he's not talking to me.How good is it having Dusty back?
Unfortunately, that position is too sensible for people like Magoo, Mince Whateley and co. to understand. As the great man richo said
Now that he is in the media he sees this from two angles and understands the importance of tv/media rights to a sport. If there was no media/tv sponsors then there would be no money paying for afl and their employees including players.
He thinks Dusty should do interviews when asked but his 1st game back probably wasn’t the best time to ask. Ask in a few weeks when he has settled back in
The great man Richo hit the nail on the head
It's also insulting to the viewing audience that people are anxiously waiting for some cliched response to a an often obvious question. I'm not sure what sport the immediate postgame interview works.I watched 360 this morning and listening to Whately moan on that having Dusty answer a few Dorothy Dixers “completes the story arc”. How? Just sounds like more crap to me. As a Richmond member/fan I don’t feel deprived of any story “arc” because Dusty didn’t say “yeah it was a good win by the boys” or ny other scripted response he usually offers.

That's going into the Catphrase Hall of Fame where it will sit comfortably alongside Luigi board, escape goat, filet minion, statue of limitations and gorilla warfare. He just makes us better.
The club was stupid. The weeks he missed they shouldve had a cupboard cut out playing out of the goal square
Yeh, Richo isn't as reliant on the AFL teat as those 2.Unfortunately, that position is too sensible for people like Magoo, Mince Whateley and co. to understand.
It's a bit like how the nongs at head office think blaring music at every interval adds to the "game day" experience. I'm quite happy to go and watch a game of footy and have a chat to fellow spectators in the intervals. Unfortunately the volume of the speakers preclude such pleasant activities now. It's also insulting to the viewing audience that people are anxiously waiting for some cliched response to a an often obvious question. *** that music thing at games is **** annoying. It's a bit like how the nongs at head office think blaring music at every interval adds to the "game day" experience. What the hell??
Now we have a major article in the HS by Peter Everett telling the world how Dusty is a perfect fit for Sydney.
Why is there this constant blather about Dusty leaving Richmond?
BTW, he still has 2 years on his contract with us.
For some unknown reason there are those who wish to prise him away from Tigerland.
The individual player intros are worse, just horrible.*** that music thing at games is **** annoying.
He would be a great fit for Sydney and if he really wants to go, let him go. He owes us nothing. Buddy will retire soon and Sydney has always needed a marque player. What the hell??
