Umpire farce - Getting worse by the minute!

Who ever has Twitter, start sending the 50's that Bolton copped just last week for exactly the same thing.
Send them to Parrot, King and Cornes
The cockroaches
Dimma has been on twitter this morning re the "common sense". Pretty funny but no idea how to put it on PRE.

She wasn’t on her own.
While you at it how the *":' is Brayshaw allowed to call games,?
The hate and bias was all there last night to hear.
The only thing missing was Brayshaw wearing a red and white jumper.
And Richo, 'what happened with Cotchin'
Buddy 'I can't remember'
Richo shouldve replied 'you can't remember going for a right clenched fist punch to Cotchins head??'

Daisy Pearce
1. That was an open hand slap
2. Common sense prevailed. That wasn't a 50.
She should never be invited back to commentate a game again.
Daisy claimed several times that Buddy was going for the chest but it “slipped up”. FFS
We can all see what happened, they’re not commentating the wireless.
Then Brayshaws champion level gaslighting of trying to tell us that the umps whistle and the siren went at the same time, so no way the player could have heard…

The problem is those piranhas will use it for clickbait/ratings for a couple of days, but nothing will really change. Even Mincey and Robbo may say we were hard done by but that's just to elevate Richmond supporters' blood pressure which is entertainment for them.

so Buddy was going for the chest the first one and got him in the throat? And he was going for the throat the second one and got him in the jaw? Pretty uncoordinated from one of the most well coordinated athletes in history.

Buddy goes the knuckle when the game is hot and they are getting beaten. Becomes uncharacteristically clumsy. Has done for a good 6 seasons.

Someone very clear headed and decisive overruled 50m

Because the media will have forgotten the story by lunchtime.

But if theyde followed the rules,

And its a draw.

Theres a focus on the absurdity and dysfunctionality

For, well, 2-3 days maybe?

You have to hand it to The AFL, they are astonishingly good at brand protection, spin and manipulation,

Even on the fly.

They must have a team of a hundred marketting PR psychological genius psychopaths

In a bunker somewhere
It used to be “our game”
How do we get it back?
They’ve hijacked our beautiful game and turned it into something unrecognisable. And yet we don’t get a vote or a say?
Something has to give. People power usually win in the end.
I won’t be renewing my AFL gold membership next year.
That’s my stand against the machine.

Wasn't aware the officiating ump can ask for advice. He said it's a 50 but then phoned a friend.

Also wasn't aware that common sense was a rule.

Media will ensure the sniper gets off.
Harry have a read of the comments about the incident.
80% are 'he shouldve hit him harder'
'Thanks bud' 'Got what he deserved'
'Every dog has his day" 'the slippery gets snipped'
The hate towards Cotchin is unbelievable.
I never realised that Cotchin was hated to that level.
Cotchins hit on Sheild will be his stamp on the game to many outside Richmond.

It’s because Cotch is hard at it and doesn’t shirk the issue. Most of them are jealous he doesn’t play for them. Stuff ‘em all!

My question is how can the second ump (assumably Stevic) know for certain the player did not hear the whistle. He is only guessing and that is what makes is so frustrating for me.

It's a crap game to watch now.

Umpire asked for advice on his mic.

Wanted to pay 50 then asked for advice.
Wtf
Sadly I reckon get use to it.
It’s going to be the new norm.
More free kicks, no rough play when the ball unanticipated in play, can’t question the umpire.
The game we use to know is dead.

What stood out to me last night was the amount of times Swans players looked to get a ducking free. We tackled well to avoid them, Papley late in the last really stood out, IIRC he got the ball and almost dived at a Richmond arm to draw the free.

So he missed the first time and had a second go at it? It doesn’t matter if it was open hand or closed fist, it was an intentional strike and it made contact. If it’s not a suspension then Mansell is owed a week for the Ginnivan thing. Because it’s Buddy it’ll be a warning at most.
