If Port want to play more games at the G, maybe stop asking to play us in *smile* Adelaide every bloody year then numbnuts. We only play them at the G this year because we also play them in Adelaide. I think you have to go back to something like 2004 since we last played Port at the G and not in Adelaide the same year, but we are worth more to Port financially by being played over in Adelaide rather than having more games at the G. Maybe ask Kochie why he asks to play us in Adelaide every year.
As for us playing Freo at Marvel, we don't want to play at bloody Marvel. We would much prefer to play Freo on the G. As for their other 3 games in Melbourne, they play Carlton (which could conceivably be played at the G that isn't) and the other 2 are the Saints and the Dogs. Does he think they should forego their home ground just to give Freo more games at the G.

So on one hand he’s complaining that Richmond, Melbourne, Collingwobbles play too many games on their home turf, MCG
But on the other hand he wants interstate teams to play more games on the MCG
Who does he think they’ll be playing on the MCG?
He also conveniently forgets that home ground advantage isn't home ground advantage when you're playing teams on their home ground!
This kills me when people use that line. We don't have some unique shaped oval that the other team never plays on with 30k screaming 1 eyed ferals pressuring umpires into making biased calls all game. We've got like 4 or 5 true home games and the umpires don't play ball in those anyway.

Where does he want us to play our home games?
Where do Port play home games?
Does the dumb prick know we have played our home games at the G since the 60's.
I do all I can to avoid anything Cornes says/writes , however his over the top headline seeking comments keep getting through the “blocks” I may be on my own but he actually puts me off the game , does absolutely nothing to make me want to watch footy. Besides the game been the most confusing, frustrating and unpopular it has ever been , we have a huge amount of media that the general public don’t seem to like or respect .
IMHO the game Is in more trouble then it’s ever been , I know bush leagues who once had 3rds don’t even have a seconds team now , clubs continue to fold and leagues that once had 10 plus clubs now have 4 teams .
Fans have stopped going and the majority of my footy fanatic mates, now basically only watch there own teams games , its another issue that appears to contribute to footys downfall and that’s the commentators nowadays , so many fans again don’t seem to like .
Were in trouble when the likes of Robbo and Wheatly are the “ best“ in the business , to me the general attitude of the media is completely wrong for the game , 90% of the time they are reporting on the negatives of the game , it just gets so tiresome .
In 10 years I’ve gone from watching most games , our games a second time , a few footy type shows I.e on the couch to pretty much not watching any game other then our own and no tv shows what so ever . If it wasn’t for catching up with the Tiger faithful at the games I doubt I’d go every week now.
