I was gonna say that the pies have hit De Gooey with a wet lettuce leaf,

But a lettuce would cost more than the fine.

So end result? Nothing!

Trade him. Cancer to the club, fly bags would love to jettison the clown
Nooooooooo….keep him there… and give him a long term contract on more dosh.

This is a corporate look and culture issue… vastly different from a pure legal position. Not a great deal CFC could do aside from shout from the rooftop that they don’t condone it. It has put them in a neat contract bargaining set though

The Tik-tok thing is nothing. That’s DeGoey’s issues magnifying everything else.

Even the Bali thing, the Pies win. If he stays it drives his price down, if he goes they get a pick. JDG is clearly a flog in any environment, it’s not a Collingwood created him.

Just watching 360. Can’t believe I was in agreement with Robbo on a comment. Of any sort. Something along the lines of him being diagnosed with ADHD late last year and he had been doing really well. But then…Robbo said he fell off the wagon? And questioned that. It’s a good point. If you have ADHD how do you do that? You either have it. Or you don’t? Don’t you? I understand you can learn awareness of the condition through treatment/counselling and possibly it could change over time. As in, it may develop over time?

Otherwise I would have thought you have ADHD or you don’t.

Not an expert by any means.

Also perplexed that if he had ADHD and had trouble controlling his behaviours…..why did Collingwood allow him to go O/S?

Worked a treat on his last trip to the States.

Imagine if he goes to the Aints. Fitzroy St will light up.

I think they'll punt him.

I've just read the Collingwood Football Clubs response to Kmarts party life and the 'suspension'...

can it be any more gutless and irrelevant ? or, what are they hiding ?

either way it's surprising considering the cultural mess that club has found itself in.

Agree - reckon it’s time - the question will be can he find a home that can handle so much baggage.

He will.

McRae is punting him. Collingwood is punting him. And they'll free TPP and get a draft choice.

If the Pies don't punt De Gone, McRae will get offers and should take one. As it stands McRae is a brilliant PR appointment. Oh, and he wins games of football.

McRae is Mr Standards. He has to punt him, or he's not.

Someone will pay him. And Collingwood will get a first-round compo pick.

*smile* or not (weight of evidence says *smile*), it would not surprise if whoever recruits De Goey gets a career year from him next year.

Of course, it would also not surprise if he continues to be a *smile*. That's where you have to know your man. We're just mugs in and on the outer.

Collingwood simply cannot afford to get rid of him.

They are seriously lacking D***head depth as it is even with De Goey at the club.

If he goes they will become a pedestrian band of reasonable citizens.

Mind you, Ginnivan and Quaynor seem to be putting their hands up so maybe all is not lost.

What did he actually do in Bali?
I’ve heard he rubbed a girls tit
The internet left are outraged
Surely there’s more to it

Scoop is of this school too, StK.

Is Gil McGenius still in charge of culture down at StKilda? Gil is real good at that.

Gill's best mate will be CEO next year and he threw an exorbitant contract at Hannebery. This is giving similar vibes for differing reasons.
