Don't normally comment on stuff like this but....

I believe i read either yesterday or the day prior that he is still in process of completing some 'education' from his last issue with females.

I don't care how good a football player he is, he should be responsible for his actions and held to account.

If RFC even considered this grub i would return my 20+ year membership until he leaves, he really shouldn't be given any further chances, makes a mockery of drafting for character..

All of this suggests that it is very wise to stay away from any of the sites like Facebook, Twitter and the like.
Won't happen of course, but these and others of similar ilk are hotbeds of left wing bias and social hate.
So I have been told.
Don't subscribe to any of them thank goodness.

Our standards have changed and what was acceptable in the "good old days" is thankfully no longer.

Was subjected to all of that treatment at bars/clubs back in the day and didn't think anything of it at the time, but as I have grown and developed a bit more self-respect, it makes me absolutely sick to the stomach what I accepted as treatment from men back then.

I have a feeling the lady who had no issues with his treatment in Bali might think differently down the track.

And I hope my daughters never have to deal with it.

the issue isnt that he went to Bali, the issue is making "obscene" gestures to the camera, and attempting to expose his friend's breast to the camera, and I think the suggestion is that he wasn't particularly sober at the time- not sure on that one tho.
again, for a guy with his history to put himself in this situation is incredibly dumb.

So basically he is being punished and slammed by many because his mate uploaded the video?

no, he is being "punished" (with a suspended fine- so not really punished at all) for his actions, he was caught because the video leaked.

Us bringing in De gooey would be the same as when the bummers traded in Strangerman. Strangerman Stringer is over paid and is still living off one good season many moons ago - I don’t believe he adds anything much on field to their performance or to their culture either. He is an inconsistent performer and from the outside, chooses the games and times when he turns up. The fact I think the doggies are a better team now with him not there says it all to me.

De gooey is the same, the only difference is that he will also bring to his potentially new club baggage and unwanted media attention.

Big no from me.

Collingwood boss under fire for making ‘appalling’ Jordan De Goey joke in front of AFLW side

Collingwood president Jeff Browne is under fire after making an “appalling and disrespectful” joke about Jordan De Goey’s New York incident at the club’s AFLW awards, reports the Herald Sun.
De Goey pleaded guilty to a downgraded harassment charge, with three more serious charges including forcible touching and assault dropped following a plea, over an incident at a nightclub over Halloween weekend last year.

Months later Browne was speaking in front of the club’s women’s players, officials, parents and sponsors when he reportedly made a joke involving De Goey.

“I hear some of you girls are going overseas tomorrow. I have a message for you from Jordan De Goey, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,’’ Browne said.

The club told the Herald Sun it was a “bad joke”.

The president, who replaced Mark Korda following months of in-fighting in the aftermath of Eddie McGuire’s exit, told the newspaper: “I made a comment at our best and fairest night which, in hindsight and given the events of the past week, using Jordan as a reference point was not a good example.

“At the time, we had a group of athletes heading overseas the following day and the only intention of my comments were to caution those athletes to not misbehave.’’

A group of Collingwood AFLW players reportedly asked the club to take strong action against De Goey following the New York incident.

He was last week given a $25,000 suspended fine following his behaviour in Bali across the Magpies’ bye, and took personal leave which saw him miss Sunday’s win over GWS.

A Magpies sponsor told the Herald Sun: “I couldn’t believe what I was hearing at first.

“I turned to the person next to me and said: ‘Did he really just make a Jordan De Goey joke?’

“And they just shook their heads in disbelief.

“It was so disrespectful. It would always be inappropriate, but on a night to celebrate the women’s team, it was just appalling.

“I can’t imagine how the players felt having their season and achievements reduced to a joke.”

Another said: “I can’t believe he would be stupid enough to say that.’’

Who'd have thought, Tom Browne's dad would also be an idiot.
