Why is everyone saying this? The Powder Blues could be as teasing as the Paddle Pops over here.

They should have won the game. Pick 6 on their own goal line the difference

Defence looks solid, keeping Chiefs offence to 20 points is a good effort.

Bears + 9.5
Vikings + 2.5

Good news for one of the Aussies in the NFL :)

49ers sign punter Mitch Wishnowsky to four-year extension worth up to US$13 million

The San Francisco 49ers announced Friday that they have signed punter Mitch Wishnowsky to a four-year extension, keeping him under contract through the 2026 season. The deal gives Wishnowsky just under $3 million per year, with a total maximum value of $13 million in new money, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported

Wishnowsky is entering his fourth season with San Francisco and has played in every regular-season game in that span. Over 50 contests, he's punted 179 times for a total of 7,423 yards, averaging 41.2 yards per boot. He pinned 72 of those punts inside the 20-yard line. In postseason games, Wishnowsky has averaged 40.6 yards on 22 punts, 10 of which landed inside the 20. He's also contributed on kickoffs occasionally, kicking off 214 times for 112 touchbacks.

In the 49ers' loss to the Bears last Sunday to open the season, Wishnowsky punted four times, averaging 40.25 yards, with three landing within the 20-yard line.

In short - From Perth, shoulder injuries stopped his footy career.
- Attended Nathan Chapman's Prokick training centre in Melbourne, studied and played for University of Utah.
- First season punting in 2016, he was second in Division I FBS in punting average (47.7 yards) and first in punts downed inside the opponent's 10-yard line (17).
- Drafted by the 49ers in the fourth round of the 2019 Draft.
- NFL Special Teams - Player of the Month - September 2021
- Due to an injury to Robbie Gould, Wishnowsky took over field goal and extra point kicking duties for a 3 October 2021 game versus the Seattle Seahawks. Wishnowsky made one out of two extra points and missed a 41-yard field goal.
- Wishnowsky is the first Australian to score a point in an NFL game. What a Legend :clap1
