Could be a blessing in disguise for the team. Not sure about Lance.
I saw last week Lance after doing some proper scrambles in pre-season, he went back to diving head first, and I thought here we go, it's just a matter of time he goes down soon with some kind of injury. People might be slaying Kyle for making him run, but like Kaepernick, he's not an accurate passer of the football. Nowadays all the really good QB's are throwing over 65% passing accuracy. Back in the day, anything around 60% was considered great but rules have changed to protect the QB.

Jimmy probably won't win you a SB but the team is set up for a run at one, and he did go to one and another NFC Conference Final. Lance I think is at least another 2-3 year project in waiting. We can't do that to the Defence in particular, wait until he's ready to go.

Strategically, it was a strange move, not withstanding the desire to improve at QB. It cost us a heap to draft him and he never really played at the elite college level. A lot of speculative thinking. To my untrained eye, I never really saw anything more special than any of the other QB’s and I didn’t think any of them were all together special either anyway.

Still probably too early, but I dunno. He just doesn’t look anything stand out ish yet.

Definitely. He wasn't a QB in 125 Division I Colleges, he was a QB in the FBS - or the Football Bowl 'Subdivision'.
I didn't see it coming and three first rounders for a bloke with that pedigree, just wow man, didn't like it and still haven't warmed up to it.
Wish him the best of course and hope it's sooner than forecast.

Note - I use this reverse psychology during Richmond games and this year was actually funny how many times it works - "Is Pickett playing today?" Scores a goal. "Has Bolton touched the ball?" Scores a goal. One game I used it five times and worked every time lol.

I also believe my first year as an MCC Member was in 2017, and sitting 6-15 rows behind the bench at the G, 'organising the interchanges' correlates with the 2017 flag and success we've had since then!! :clap2
Doesn't work for me anymore.

How's those dud Raiders? What a choke.

Yep pretty poor again by the Veygans ;)

Two poor choke jobs and one nearly today,
The Raiders up 20-0 and loss 29-23.
Baltimore up 28-7 and lose to Miami - 42-38.
Rams up 28-3 and scraped it in against Atlanta 31-27.

Allen and Diggs are taking the Titans apart.

I'm liking watching 2 games at once.

Looking better than expected are the Phillies. Same with NY Giants. Maybe it's early season form which fades out...we'll see.

Bills looking strong again.

I think I trust the Eagles, nowhere near sold on the Giants yet though.

Bills are awesome on both sides of the football.

Lot of mistakes in this game. Dropped catches, missed tackles, garbage from Cousins etc. How did Slay drop that int just then ??? And then catches the next one on the next play….

Always surprises me just how many intercept opportunities go begging due to dropped catches.

You would think it would be something they would practice.

Ridley Jnr is in big trouble when I get home tonight; massive trouble! This is outrageous.

If keeps this up he will be sacked quicker than a Richmond coach in the 1980s!!!

Well the results of week 2 are in and what a big week in football it has been !!

One astute tipster has broken away from the pack. They will be mighty hard to stop from here. A handicap system may be needed to keep this comp interesting moving forward.
