After all points are take into account:
Taranto for Pick 4
Prestia for Pick 9
It'll be nice if we get Hopper for a reasonable price, but if not, a few points either way isn't a big deal.
Reckon that will happen on the Hopper deal. GWS will be out of the draft by pick 30

What's the point of having five picks between 6 and 15 and hitting just twice, that's a hit every 2.5 picks.
So using 2 picks for one 'guaranteed' hit should be about the same if not slightly better right?

We already have a solid foundation, so that base allows us to reasonably trade for elite talent now without bottoming out.
We already have first round "hits" to grow up together - e.g. Rioli and Vlastuin are 10+ year players who are great for culture. Can't get that value any other way though, so definitely can't go without it
Was even more effusive with the addition of Hopper who gives us the inside grunt. Allows Dusty and Taranto to rotate forward/mid and not lose integrity around the ball.
Don’t mind giving up one of our developing mids ie Dow, RCD or Ralphsmith in a make-weight if we have to. Would hate to lose Soldo.
The Taranto deal was a bit of justice for GWS, they were shafted by the Deledio deal through no fault of ours but we traded one of the players we got with the Delidio picks and received pick 19 in this years draft and on traded it as part of the Taranto deal.
I believe that we paid slightly overs for Taranto but given how the Delidio deal worked out for them I am fine with it.

@Daigoro is right. The deal that was officially recorded was not the actual deal. I've met Biddiscombe and discussed it with him and he is irked that the deal is remembered that way. He loved his time at Tigerland and one of the biggest reasons for the 2002 was cost cutting where Richmond dispersed with numerous valuable support staff to save a few bucks.Not according to Rhett Bartlett...different trade maybe ?

Happy to have Tim on board but sorry we have paid way overs. Not sure why we give in so easily. Tarranto is a good talent but he should not be getting 2 first rounders. Way overs. Unless they do a good deal with Hopper then we have sold the farm. Better hope this bloke stays on the park and has a massive contribution.

As far as I am concerned the salary cap for our recruiting guys needs to be lifted. From the type of random decisions we used to make in years gone by to how we operate now. Wow. Give Blair and co. a payrise, all of them…….. and lock them away on 7 year year contracts. What will Kano think of that? When we have gone back to back to back in 23/24/25……….
