Kanye's bitching means he knows what's coming. He can sense another RFC premiership in the coming years, and he hates it so this is his coping mechanism.

Put it this way, the more Kanye bitches about us means that we're doing something right.

Shock Jock. His whole schtick is to say *smile* to generate reaction. Negative Richmond stories are the rolls royce when it comes to generating views and reactions. Really not worth reacting to his attempts to create outrage
In a nutshell......same with the HS.

All he’s doing is trying to manufacture an AFL ‘Norwood’ for AFL Port.

If Melbourne were a big club he would have used them as the direct colour match.

But they’re not. So he obviously thinks RFC are the best fit seeing Collingwood and Carlton have their rivalry and Essendon keep sabotaging themselves. We’re the big club worth having a rivalry with for ticket sales when Port play away. It would get a game at the G for them instead of Marvel. He doesn’t need to drum up interest for the showdown as that’s solid.

So really, it’s a compliment that he‘s targeting his douchbaggery towards us.

I just see him and Port as minnows though. You’ll feel better and laugh him off if you can do the same.

True to some extent, but If that was the only reason then he'd be bitching about us every year for the past 10 years.

How often did he refer to us when we were going like *smile* and ended up finishing 12th in 2021? Hardly any mentions of how many games we had at the MCG in 2021 compared to our premiership years. No big name recruits for us in 2021 for him to complain about. 5 draftees and silence. No finals and hardly a peep. We get 2 big name recruits and suddenly here he is back again complaining. Why? He knows we're a serious threat next year and he hates it. If we swapped picks for Ben Long and Zane Cordy he wouldn't have said a thing, because they don't lift us into the top 4 and the potential for a flag. During our flag years he would bring up just about anything to convince the public that we were gifted premierships.

The hatred is real.

He doesn't want to play Richmond at the G. He wants to whinge about interstate clubs not getting enough games at the G, but he also wants to whinge that Richmond gets too many. He knows they don't have much chance of beating us there so he's quite happy to play us at Adelaide Oval every year and Marvel every second year, when he can call Dimma a whinger for not wanting to play home games at an away ground.

Cornhole is always sooking about the amount of games we play at the G.
He must have a bad memory, we play Port at Adelaide Oval just about every time we play them, and kick their arses every time :banana

As someone else said, interstate clubs like Port get 12 games at their home ground - two of which are local derbies, with the other 10 genuine home games against interstate teams.

We usually have 14ish games at the G, most of which are against teams that also play home games there. I include Geelong, Carlton and Essendon in this because they all play there often enough.
Richmond games at the G against clubs that don't play home games there:
2022 - 5 of our 14 MCG games
2021 - 4 of 11
2020 - 0 of 4
2019 - 4 of 13
2018 - 5 of 14
2017 - 5 of 11. Yes, despite sharing the ground with Melbourne, Hawthorn, Collingwood, and occasionally Carlton, Essendon and Geelong, we played fewer games at our ground than an interstate club does at theirs. And still won the flag.

You could keep going back through the years. Only a third of our home games actually confer a significant home ground advantage.

Now, yes, we don't suffer the disadvantage of playing Carlton or Essendon or recently Geelong at their home ground, but neither do we get a huge home ground advantage considering how much they play at the G (Carlton are probably better at the G than at Marvel).

I don't listen to Cornes and only know what he's saying by what I read here, but I'd love to staple these facts to his forehead.

The discussion around how many games we get to play at the G is totally immaterial.

The fact is, every club is asked about the fixturing, and every club wants to play Richmond and Collingwood at the G because of the money they make.

If the AFL actually gave the clubs what they want, we would play there 16 times per year, and Collingwood, because they never have to play interstate, would play 22 games there.

This.

If the interstate clubs want more games at the MCG then who exactly do they think they will play at the MCG, another non-Victorian club. FFS, if they get more games at the MCG it will be against teams who have the MCG as their home ground, which means Port's opponent on the day also get a game at the MCG.

Bit of logic would help this idiot's cause.

Glad I never listen to him, doubt I could find SEN on my radio (he does work for SEN doesn't he?).

Correct! The space between Cornhole's ears is a void.

Would there be the odd meteor or asteroid spinning/floating in that space?

There is also some speculation that space has Dark Matter, which has our brightest brains struggling to explain

Again still a good description for Kane
