Was going through the supposed best line ups for next season on the AFL site.

A highly underrated pic of Grundy in his new surrounds I reckon.....

Pretty simple solution, don't draft lemons.
yeah, clubs would probably respond by not taking as many picks in the draft, and not drafting more speculative picks. Sydney Stack for example probably would not have been drafted, Liam Baker probably another.

i dont think it is anyone's interest to force clubs to sign kids onto longer term contracts. it will just lead to less kids getting a chance at all, and less kids from less traditional footballing backgrounds getting drafted.

Hmm... someone's opinion.. fair enough and they're sort of putting blokes in position but.... biased as I am, how could anyone ever think that Motlop was a better starting option than Lambert who fell in on the bench....
Extraordinarily underatted by the outside world was Kane.
Just the opposite for the other bloke!

I think that is where the VFL competition can come into it's own.

Always plenty of talent growing up in the State leagues. Not everyone is ready for the intensity of AFL at 18 or 19 years old. There's always a bunch of 21 to 25 year old's from the State leagues more than capable of matching it at AFL level, but the clubs are often extremely reluctant to give them an opportunity

It’s like giving trainee pilots an opportunity to land a plane - oh the consequences

Nyuon was trusted with the hawks forwards

The top team needs another tall added so Miller or Soldo.

If 5 on the interchange bench that would suit us based on the above.
