Damn straight! Plus. I love this guy. Hard as a goats head. Works hard in running both ways. Tackles. Never leaves the field without having a crack. How fortunate we were to get him. Have to get him to 100 games. He has some sons. Need to make sure we have a father/son opportunity.
How many games has he played to date?

last year he took quite a few crucial marks , if he fumbled they would have been goals and they were at key stages in the game

his hands are so clean and do believe he was reading the play well and making to those positions

so key to our structure , if he plays most games this year we will stare down a top 4 spot

At the g on sitting in the southern you just gasp at the amount of ground he covers to create a contest or intercept. You don’t see it on the TV. Never seen anything like it at the level of consistency he does it at. He has gadget extender arms and also a fair leap and just chews up ground when he is running.

If you were the player who kicked it you wouldn’t be expecting it is going to be a turnover 90% of the time.

Marlion Pickett, adductor

"Marlion is managing an adductor. He will be unavailable for this weekend but is probable to play in the VFL practice game next week."

Marlion is managing an adductor.

Bloody difficult little injury the adductor, don't like them at all.

Will be interesting to see if they make the call to go into surgery as that is often the only way to stop them hanging around. Once they do that and lengthen the tendon he'd be right in 6 weeks.

The Sonz had had an abductor too, what cause that injury?

It's usually a fatigue injury, which is obviously risky at this time of year.

If you have a bit of weakness through the core and thighs and are running hard then the muscles on the inside of your thigh can't quite keep up and generally strain where they connect to the tendon.

And that's where my plan pays off... Never run hard and avoid, at all costs, any muscle creation whatsoever.

When is the VFL game scheduled??. Friday evening would ideal should we need to get minutes into a few players ahead of Thursday.
FRIDAY, MARCH 10
Richmond v Sandringham (Swinburne Centre, 5.30pm, 4x25min)

Would we risk underdone players in this game for a 6 day turnaround?

Perhaps a couple of quarters for touch?
