Sad L2R2R not here to give us the % male descendancy of Richmond players in the last 20 years who have played more than 123 games (excluding pre season). You just know his database would spit the answer out in 3 seconds.

Jack used to get quite angry when i would wind him up about being a ginger lol
Just being mean to Jaaack, we all know he's just a strawberry blonde. We also know that strawberries start out fairly pale n then go red as buggery in the sunshine. Therefore strawberries be ginger n so does Jaaack.

pretty sad thinking he's lining up for his last season. Going to savour every inch of it.
Worst thing about being old n following the club for a hell of a long time. All them champion players that put a grin on your dial over the years end up fading away n retiring, then ya gotta find new young stars to follow.

Reckon the toughest part of savouring the last season is that physical capabilities have diminished.
Less jumping on heads, less spinning oppos around on a twisting lead.
Less bags of goals.

Its like life in general, realising that time is running out once the physical gifts are gone. And wanting just one more season in the sun

would be great to see him play his 350th game in the finals to top off a sensational career.

Yes but we need Jack play out 2023 we got no one else
Hopefully Samson comes on in 2023 and plays forward then Jack will get the 3rd backman
instead of being double teamed scragged and ignored by umps

I think Ryan is still 2 years away. I’m not an advocate for Ruckman as KPF’s. Not many flags go to sides who try to turn Ruckman into forwards. 2 quality mobile natural forwards is usually the blueprint.

Miller should take Jack's role in the forward line.
Has pace & gives us more options. Only needs to create a contest & bring the ball to ground. He did that very well at the end of last season.
Can swing back if required & ruck too.
We still have enough firepower up front.

The Dees strolled out of defence when the ball hit the deck.
Lynch is still gaining match fitness.
We can't have two slow talls up forward. Dusty & Cotch aren't quick either.
M Rioli can't cover for them all.

It's round 1. He mightn't be the player he was, but we won't (and shouldn't) be leaving out Jack Riewoldt.

He was easily our best forward in the last match we played and deserves first bite at the cherry to start the season.

Fair enough mate. He'll probably get picked on that basis but I'm worried about our lack of pace.
