Well Dangerfield also met with Hopper

Then Hopper met Dusty

Now Hopper is a Richmond player

Reckon I might run a little experiment to see just how far the trying to one-up others by randomly inserting Richmond acts would go.

'Fred Hollows did some wonderful work in the field of ophthalmology'.

'That's nothing, what about the Richmond trainer who cleaned up Francis Bourke's eye injury against North Melbourne in 1980??????'.

Come on TBR. You know that’s crap. St Francis didn’t need any help. He healed himself

back in the day , Tiger V Hawks at Glenferrie , Francis cops a heavy knock , (it breaks his leg)
he was in serious pain , it was distressing to the crowd near by , the old trainers run out , no stretcher ,
the trainers were too short to be much help
some in the crowd got narky feeling the stretcher was being with held
Francis limped around to the grandstand in considerable pain the whole way
when he got to the X near the grandstand the stretcher appeared
this was before the bloody face incident V North
for the regular goers they knew Francis was one tough mother

Anyone else see the advert. that sometimes pops up at the bottom of this site.

It's for M C Diving Services (Qualified Diving Services). Their colours just happen to be dark blue & white.
They just happen to be located in Geelong.

How appropriate.   :D:D:D

1 in 10,000 work out.
It's like winning powerball twice.
Don't you remember the superstar we picked up from Ireland. He was meant to be the best thing to come out of Ireland since Enja

John Heslin was his name, picked him up at the age of 19, supposedly was going to be a superstar as you say but returned home after only 3 months because of homesickness.
Wasn't here long enough to see if he could transition to AFL.
Must have scarred us for life as the Club hasn't looked in their backyard since.

Probably a smart move by the club. All the Irish boys seem to struggle big time with being away from home n almost all of them end up doing a runner back home.

Waste of resources and time.
Especially when there are kids 10 times better playing in the state under our noses.

So has this set up the Bowes v Hopper watch - let’s see which club wins that one
Or is it Hopper vs Bowes + Clark (pick 7)? Looking back at the Geelong trade, even if Bowes ends up being bog average I can't see how they could lose on it. Considering Danger was messaging Bowes early in the season last year, Cats at least knew a dump was coming down the line. Conspiracy anyone?
